December 6, 201311 yr I hadn't really noticed this thread, but I love this album - I've played it to death over the years, but acoustically it sounds even better. Off to order it now!
December 7, 201311 yr My physical copy arrived today, the documentary on the DVD is so good  Such a good package altogether, I couldn't have asked for anything better!
December 26, 201311 yr This will mean nothing to non hardcore Delta fans but I was having a clearout today and on one of my old MP3 CD's from 2004 I found the True North remix of Throw It Away, which was intended for the release of that song as a UK single (True North being the production duo consisting of Elliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow, who wrote the song). It never materialised as a physical single but this edit was briefly released onto a Coke downloads site at the time. I thought I'd lost it for good and it doesn't seem to be online anywhere but I found my MP3
December 26, 201311 yr Author Oh wow! :o I've never been able to get hold of that, it's the only song/remix that I'm aware of that I never managed to locate I think.
December 27, 201311 yr If you fancy popping a copy of that in the mail, my PM box has enough room for a copy of that epic track :kink: Forgot to actually ask for this for Christmas so shall have to buy it once I get paid!
December 28, 201311 yr This will mean nothing to non hardcore Delta fans but I was having a clearout today and on one of my old MP3 CD's from 2004 I found the True North remix of Throw It Away, which was intended for the release of that song as a UK single (True North being the production duo consisting of Elliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow, who wrote the song). I have it.
December 29, 201311 yr This is a nice little addition to my Delta collection. However, I was disappointed there are no new unreleased tracks. They could have made more of this....
December 29, 201311 yr Author I don't think that was the point. It was just to revisit and reinvent the tracks 10 years on. It was a fab idea and the result was a really lovely album. I don't really care about any unreleased tracks.

I don't really care about any unreleased tracks. It may not have been the point of it but I'm just saying that a few unreleased tracks would have enhanced it. I'm sure they have plenty available in the vaults...
January 3, 201411 yr the most hated song off the original version for me was In My Own Time. The new anniversary edition is one of my favourites. As some of you have been discussing, Throw It Away, yes, we were ment to be getting it as a single instead of the fantastic track Predictable! I remember going into Woolworths on the Saturday and them checking their release schedule and confirming it was there. Monday morning go in and they said, no thats not here. I preferred CD1s cover to CD2s. I would have loved to have heard the Not Me, Not I remix that was intended for the single (not the 12" Vinyl version apparently)
January 12, 201510 yr Sorry to bump this, but did we know Innocent Eyes has finally been certified 3x platinum in the UK?! https://twitter.com/AlexFisher85/status/554...7294210/photo/1
January 12, 201510 yr Hooray! I knew it was around the 850k mark so suspected it wasn't far off but it's good to see that people still buy it!
January 13, 201510 yr Strong debut album,i bought the original and it deserves it 3x platinum status. Disappointingly no follow up even came near its success.
