I don't know how anyone could say she sounded robotic in that interview and I'm in no way a deluded fan, I'd say If I thought she sounded spoon fed answers, she sound happy and at ease, laughing, eating, even singing (very briefly) getting back that personality we all fell in love with!

 

And I'm not a hater. I'm neutral on her, and I think I can safely say that interview was disappointing considering what other people usually say in interviews. I don't care if she sounds better than she did before. No excuses. Take a look at Paul McCartney's interview on the BBC last night. Much more full of natural warmth and content than Britney's interview. And that's my opinion. We don't all have to have the same opinion.

 

But yeah, SORRY FOR HAVING AN OPINION and I will just keep it to myself next time.

I was just kidding with my post to you, I hope you don't take everything I say seriously. I get what you are saying, but like you said, you are neutral.

 

You haven't followed her from seeing her have a complete breakdown, to being diagnosed with serious mental issues. I hold Britney to a different light, and not everyone will or should they... Because they haven't been emotionally invested in her since the age of 8, like myself. I think in comparison to the eras since she "cameback", she has been vacant. However, slowly making progress in her recovery.

 

Unfortunately for her, she will always be compared to how she acted, or who she was before her breakdown. She actually has legit mental disorders, she didn't just recover from a crazy party period in her life. I think her interviews and interaction with the public this era have shown such a vast improvement, that it is impossible to ignore. We are not comparing her to anyone, but she is in no way "robotic" or "spoon fed" answers. We, as fans, know what that sounds like, it's everything she did for "Femme Fatale". But, you can't be surprised her fans are defending her when she has come such a long way in such a short period of time.

 

As a moderator and the person that started this forum, I never want it to be misconstrued that I don't appreciate or support analytical or critically constructive posts. And I hope you don't mind your opinion being challenged, or approached with harmless sarcasm. : ) (seperate because the actual smiling emoticon looks like a c**t).

No, that's fine and I totally get everything you're saying. I obviously appreciate your opinion and everyone else's opinion so I did feel a bit like mine was being undermined because you had a different one, but as you said you were kidding so I'm more at fault for not "getting" your posts towards me. But yeah, it's all fine and I'm glad that she's come a long way and getting better!

I'm sorry I made you feel that way, it's not my intention! I want this forum to be used by fans, stans and the general music lovers! I love hearing opinions on Britney.

 

However, I admit I get touchy and defensive when it comes to personal Brit. Just look at my relationship with Jark. I'm 23 and I'm a stan, I will cut a bitch over Britney until I die. I love that bitch, lol.

Anyways I'm SO excited to see her on chattyman, I think Alan is the perfect host to bring out her lovely funny side so I have high hopes it could be the best interview for her in years!

So I met Britney yesterday.

 

She is so sweet and beautiful in person. I wasn't able to take any shots of her talking to me because

a) it's rude to take a photograph of someone when their talking to you

b) the concept of taking a picture of Britney was not even on my mind.

 

But she's so sweet.
