Yes, but she clearly acts like she's all grown up now. Comes with responsibility to actually act more like an adult. She should've just ignored Sinead's concerns if there was nothing positive to be said.

I fully agree that she should have ignored Sinead's original concerns but I'm sure no matter how grown up that you're at the age of 20 you're still going to be vulnerable and sensitive.

Sinead makes some really good points. If it was Britney who was being mocked in this way, Miley wouldn't stand for it, but somehow it's fine to do it to Sinead?

Not quite, I think people are quick to judge and forget that she's still a 20 year old girl. I'm sure that we've all said things at this age that we regret especially when provoked.

I certainly didn't. She's 20 - not 12. She's an adult.

Sinead  Literally all of what she said there is so true. It was a rather piss poor attempt on Miley's behalf to try and jeopardise Sinead's career or antagonise her by posting tweets that old as if they are from the now and she is still in the dark place she once was... She needs to do some growing up soon - the excuse that she's just young and is going to say things that she doesn't necessarily mean doesn't really wash. She obviously knew what she was trying to do by tweeting that, and as Sinead said, I'm sure she'd be pretty quick to jump to Britney's defence if somebody said that about her.

I'm sure if at the age of 20 you were getting a shit load of abuse, people telling you what to do and what's best for you.... you wouldn't overreact just a little? I'm sure Miley regrets saying what she did but she obviously still has to mature up.

I do think Sinead is carrying on this fiasco by commenting on matters that she knows nothing about.

Which would be mental health problems, being FEMALE and a recording artist. Nothing whatsoever.

She shouldn't dish it out if she can't take it. She must have been aware that her behaviour would cause criticism, if she can't handle it, stop it.

It's quite clear Miley knows little or nothing about the meaning behind Sinead ripping the picture of the Pope on SNL, she shouldn't have made reference to it. It's a two way thing.

1) Claiming Amanda Bynes has done nothing to Miley Cyrus

2) Claiming that Miley is being whored out when it's actually Miley that's pulling the strings.

As I've said I don't condone what Miley done but I think others are too quick to judge! Hopefully Sinead's next letter could be private instead of open.

POT KETTLE BLACK.

Of course, not everyone is highly self-aware and she's learning hard lessons, I guess.
I do think that Sinead should continue this matter in private as publicly it won't do either of them any good.

1. How is Amanda even relevant to that discussion in the first place anyway? Miley brought her up.

2. Did Miley Cyrus tell you this? Nobody really knows what's going on behind the scenes. Perhaps it was other people's idea and Miley just went along with it pretending she's in control. You cannot possibly know FOR SURE. (I personally believe that she is in control but I am not 100% super positively massively sure about it obviously).

POT KETTLE BLACK.

Yes, because that's a valid comparison.

She may have a sense of vulnerability about her (when people claim that she is under all of the stresses she is because of the record label's demands), but she knows what she is saying to people on Twitter. There is a difference between allegedly being controlled by a record label in terms of your image, music, promotion, etc. and controlling your own actions on your personal Twitter account; something that the record label cannot be held accountable for. It's quite clear that she has no idea what she is talking about and cannot comprehend a civilised way to respond to the advice that Sinead is giving her so instead resorts to willingly posting images that she has gone out of her way to find just for the sake of a witty comeback because she either cannot accept the advice or doesn't want to believe that it is a potentiality for her future, so instead is building a wall to block it out (while along the way willingly mocking anybody who has experienced or is experiencing a mental health illness as Sinead once was). If she doesn't mean what she is saying because she is just young and has a lot of maturing to do, then surely she would have been advised by now that the tweets were out of order and that she would be best off taking them down. Assuming she's not, she probably means what she's saying and is just a silly girl.

I do believe Miley just got incredibly defensive, she's still incredibly young which I think people are forgetting. Amanda Bynes has done nothing but attack her for the past couple of weeks (It annoys me that Sinead in her new open letter says that Amanda Bynes has done nothing to Miley)

I'm not excusing what Miley said regarding the mental illness but she admires Britney and she's performed at events to help raise awareness for things associated with illness. I do think Sinead is attention seeking regarding the matter.

At 20 years old, with the education Miley has surely had she should know not to attack people on the basis of their mental health history. She is 20 not 12 :s

I wonder if Miley has any intentions to apologize since he's hosting this weeks SNL. If not I hope Sinead wont write a 4th letter *fingers crossed*

OK this is getting ridiculous. Miley should just apologise and everyone draws a line under this whole sorry affair and moves on.

This Miley/Sinead thing is so completely unnecessary. There was no need for Sinead's first letter to be public in the first place - what was her motivation for her letter to be read by millions of people, if the supposed intention was to help out one person - Miley? That doesn't sit well with me.

These tit for tat responses from BOTH parties is immature. Sinead shouldn't blame Miley entirely for the "stress and harassment", as quite frankly there wouldn't have been any in the first place if Sinead hadn't stuck her nose in.

Miley's reaction with the posting of the tweets was certainly bad, I'm not defending that, but Sinead isn't totally innocent here. Also, I really don't believe that she was ever genuinely concerned about Miley Cyrus' welfare in the slightest. Her last two responses have been full of rude/slanderous remarks towards Miley as well. Isn't enforcing the opinion that Miley is "acting like a prostitute" potentially going to cause distress towards Miley and her family? Aren't these constant public letters harassing Miley? Hmm.

Both should back down and sort out their differences in private. Miley, albeit in a sarcastic manner, did offer to meet up and talk about it - which Sinead has refused. So ultimately these letters have served little to no purpose at all other than causing a public furore.

I personally feel the whole letter reeked of bitterness from the Connor.

Not that I care for Miley, but I honestly read it more as an attack on the industry and some residual negative feelings from her own career disguised as giving a crap.

I agree. But I wouldn't say it's bitterness any more. Wisdom and hindsight, possibly.
