Posted October 6, 201311 yr from FMQB: Lostprophets have decided to call it quits, after lead singer Ian Watkins was arrested in December and charged with numerous sex offenses against children. Watkins denies the charges and is due to stand trial later this year, but the ordeal has obviously taken a toll on the band. The five other band members posted a note on Facebook, which reads: "After nearly a year of coming to terms with our heartache, we finally feel ready to announce publicly what we have thought privately for some time. We can no longer continue making or performing music as Lostprophets. Your love and support over the past 15 years has been tremendous, and we'll be forever grateful for all you've given us. As we look forward to the next phase of our lives, we can only hope to be surrounded by people as devoted and inspiring as you guys have been."
November 23, 201311 yr I'm so disappointed and angry with their frontman..They had very nice music but he destoyed their career with his sexual preferences..What a prick!!! Anyway, "Where We Belong" and "Jesus Walks" are my favourite songs of them..Especially, the former sounds so epic..At least, they should find a new frontman and make music again.

Unfortunately their names been ruined now. Even if they continued as Lostprophets, no one would support their music. The best thing to do here was split and the remaining band members try to move on to pastures new.
November 26, 201311 yr As the other members of the band have not faced any charges then it can be assumed there is no evidence to suggest they knew anything about what Watkins was up to. However it is still going to be very difficult for them to resume a musical career. I've never been a fan but it is hard not to feel sympathy for musicians whose career is likely to have been ruined by something that had nothing to do with them.
December 9, 201311 yr As angry as I am with the Ian situation I am also angry at the fans who have decided they no longer like LP just because of Ian. I don't agree with what he has done but I will still admit i love his bands music
