If they've snubbed Rebecca Ferguson in favour of Mary J Blige! Although tbf, they'll probably have her on the week after to promote the album release!

Actually, I think Rebecca's single will be released one week later than it was meant to be. It will be the same day as her XF performance and one day before 'Freedom' release. That's from her facebook.

That's good that they've changed it! :cheer:

Ugh Wrecking Ball back in the top 10 then. Hope Barlow goes top 10. Is there only 2?
2nd & 3rd November - CONFIRMED!

Nile Rodgers & Chic - Le Freak / He's The Greatest Dancer / Good Times [No effect on either single or album chart]

Little Mix - Move [song :ne: at #3]

Taylor Swift & Gary Lightbody - The Last Time [song :ne: at #25; album  from #60 to #25]

Actually, Nile Rogers/Chic did go up the compilations chart.

"Nile Rogers presents The Chic Organization - Up All Night (The Greatest Hits)" went from #142 to #24 in a few hours after he performed on Saturday (Nov 2nd), and from #24 to #9 in the week following the performance.

Hence why I put no effect in the singles or albums chart!

Also the Up All Night compilation was reissued just after the XF appearance with a new track listing, which included some big names not on the first version, so it would have climbed somewhat anyway.

Your thread is kinda misleading/inaccurate with the "no effect" bit, which is why I went looking as I couldn't believe there had been no sales increase.

It's not going to hurt to put:

Nile Rodgers & Chic - Le Freak / He's The Greatest Dancer / Good Times [album  #24 to #9 on compilation chart]

You mentioned GaGa's iTunes positions, which isn't the singles chart

Surprised no one mentioned that Jessie J will be performing next Sunday! :o

I'm thinking it will probably just be her duet with Mary J Blige though, rather than promoting her own material! :( I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong though!

I'm surprised that Jessie is getting an xFactor slot after her disagreement with Simon Cowell.
I'm surprised James Arthur is still getting one after all his recent antics.

Well it is customary to have the previous winner perform...

I hope Jessie performs Thunder. The woman irritates me greatly, but I really love that track.

It does seem a lot longer than one year ago when he won...

I think Jessie J will be performing a duet with Mary J.Blige 'Do You Hear What I Hear' from her new Xmas album

That's what I was thinking, they're gonna be hard pushed to fit 4 different guest performances in otherwise!
