There's a fine line between Art and Hot Mess and she crossed it. I hope she's learned her lesson and doesn't try too hard again.
They definitely should have just recorded a second video. But I imagine Gaga was fighting tooth and nail to get that "art" released and once it was clear that wasn't gonna happen she had no further interest in the song.

I think Gaga had a lot of regrets. Hence why she cancelled the video and made an Xtina studio version.

To think back in late 2013 I was so gutted this video was never released!!

 

Best it never was released now tbh.

 

Although tbh I have a weird feeling it’ll leak one day.

 

Still the song was a BOP but Xtina version will be the one I’ll go back to now in future.
