I believe that it is the first time ever, (since July 1956), that the entire Top 5 of the Album Chart are New Entries.

(Unless anyone can find another example).

Technically the entire Top 5 of the very first Album Chart, (W/E 28th July 1956), were New Entries,

but that would have to be the case.

Just one comment - Juliet is not the first single to be taken from Chapman Square part 2, it is the second. Brokenhearted was the first :)

As recently as last year actually. It has happened before on two occasions, one on week ending 17 June 2006 and also on w/e 9 June 2012.

Thanks Doctor Blind.

On Friday I 'scanned' every UK Album Chart since July 1956, & by the time I reached the 2000's I was

so tired that I knew that I was losing my concentration. Hence why I missed the 2006 & 2012 Charts

where the Top 5 Albums were New Entries.

23 weeks top 40 for 'A Thousand Years' by my count - 3 in its original run, 8 in its first re-entry, 6 in its second re-entry, 1 in its third re-entry and now 5 in its fourth re-entry.
