October 21, 201311 yr I believe that it is the first time ever, (since July 1956), that the entire Top 5 of the Album Chart are New Entries. (Unless anyone can find another example). Technically the entire Top 5 of the very first Album Chart, (W/E 28th July 1956), were New Entries, but that would have to be the case.

It has happened before on two occasions, one on week ending 17 June 2006 and also on w/e 9 June 2012.

October 21, 201311 yr 23 weeks top 40 for 'A Thousand Years' by my count - 3 in its original run, 8 in its first re-entry, 6 in its second re-entry, 1 in its third re-entry and now 5 in its fourth re-entry.
