A little surprised at how low 5SOS are actually, I didn't think they'd shoot straight to #1 but would have thought it'd be at least top 10 especially after the EP pre-order made the albums top 10 :unsure:

Christina top 10 :o I don't know if her or 5SOS being top 10 is more surprising but delighted for 'Human' and 5SOS seem to have dropped out already so... yeah :lol: Still very impressive though, isn't it higher than 'What Makes You Beautiful' got to?

'What Makes You Beautiful' did make the top 10 on release as well (I remember being surprised at that at the time, as it didn't seem like their US launch had been hyped much, perhaps it's the same with 5SOS).

I know, but I think they peaked at #10 in comparison to this peaking at #8 :P

Kinda baffled as to what ended up not only pushing Naughty Boy as low as #19 a few days ago but completely froze him in place since :lol: Seems like a strange time for the hype to deflate.

I hope Bad Blood can start taking off but they're pushing it too soon what with Pompeii still Top 10 on the Hot 100.

JT is up to 8 now, get that smash. Deserves no1! Great great song.

It was up to #115 at one point last week and has gradually declined since. Probably because so far there is no substantial airplay. My worry is that radio usually picks up no more than a couple EDM singles at a time and once they're finished with Animals and Hey Brother they'll move on to Summer and Red Lights. Since radio plays the #1 most played song roughly three times as often as the #7 most played song, there's just not enough time in the day I guess.

 

I seriously would not be surprised if Rather Be finally peaks at the end of 2014 or early 2015.

 

Radio has lots of dance songs in high rotation atm, just most of them aren't selling very much.
