I purchased already, that said i purchased early monday, if i bought the album version would it count as another sale? Isnt there something when you buy a song twice with your credit card it only registers as one sale? That said,i dont know why i know that or where i came up with that.

Heard the single 'Into The Blue' for the first time yesterday and it's brilliant! Wearing my phone out by pressing repeat all the time.

If you bought it from a different site, it wouldn't be recognised as a double-sale though - or if you had more than one C/C... :P

I just hope it would scrap Top 10 but I don't hold out much hope. Lack of promotion is certainly to blame.

It has managed to make number 9 In Ireland. Is the album number 1 in Australia too?

Glad it happened today and not Sunday. Be interesting to see how it manages overall. It's current sales are decent by Kylie standards. Hope it can pick up solid overall sales.

I don't really see how it can, it doesn't have a hit single on it and the purchases will come from fans.

 

I expect it'll probably sell a maximum of 150k in the UK which all things considered with the climate and the type of act she now is in chart terms isn't too bad.

I don't see how it can become a steady seller neither as there isn't a strong single to sustain the album. Beautiful will kill the album any hopes of going gold.

 

I think it's pretty disastrous given it's the first album with Warner Parlophone was sold by EMI but then, Warner has had a worse record in terms of promotion.

I am starting to think that perhaps she has became just a fanbase act since the X era and that 'All The Lovers' was a fluke.

 

Still, artists like her, Madonna, Britney etc will always find ways to be successful with tours and stuff so it's no biggie. It's not like she has anything to prove any more.

yes of course it every format counts as a different sale... The Album version will be a different sale than the single version. I have been telling all big kylie fans this all week..... if everyone (or big Kylie fans) bought the ALbum version that bought the single version it would add a lot of sales.... fans just don't seem to be bothered, but then again neither does the record label....... Amazon, Play.com, HMV digital..... you can buy extra copies on each plus the ITunes album version...
