Big week for releases next week- Lady Gaga, Little Mix, also Keane & The Killers releasing GH albums.

I see a poll for Little Mix already exists, so I'll skip them.

I'm being very optimistic and putting Gaga at 150k. In theory she should do it. She's a decent album seller and she's going into the week with a song that will probably be top 5 after a Graham Norton performance. Fingers crossed. Even if she managed to do 100k I'd be pleased, given the poor state of the album market at the moment.

I would be very surprised if Gaga passes 100k. Album sales are in the gutter and other than her rabid fans, I feel people just don't CARE.

I think 85k is appropriate. I suspect The Killers at #3 with about 50k, Little Mix at #5 and Keane at #6 on 30k.

The thing with gaga is shes had a similar release strategy album wise to eminem but none of her singles have been fantastic so i think shell be below 100k!

I'm being optimistic:

GaGa 110k

Killers 65k

Keane 40k

If "Direct Hits" doesn't get to #2 and sell well the record company only have themselves to blame. A Killers GH should be one of THE blockbuster albums of the year given their record.

I think Lady Gaga will do a touch over 100k, I'm not convinced it'll do much more than 300k in the longrun but that's still alright.

The Killers about 60k, Keane maybe 30k if lucky?

I would agree, but 'Do What U Want' >>> anything I've heard from Eminem this era (although 'Monster' is pretty formidable)

If she does over 100k first week by the end of xmas she will surely do 300k easy enough?

Depends how well it holds up, I can just see them cocking it up with the single choices in the new year though which won't help.

Im just into eminem more, love the new album - the songs with Sia & Love Game by Kendrick Lemar are immense, suppose its down to opinion im not a gaga fan but enjoyed The Edge of Glory, Pokerface & Bad Romance but nothing is close to those for a passive follower!

I mean a 100k start next week would mean it would be top 20 in the 4 weeks leading to xmas so it would do enough to cross 300k by decembers end imo!

I'm not confident about Gaga doing 100k but anything close to that will be welcomed.

With clever singles choices ('Gypsy' > 'Sexxx Dreams' > ('Aura'?) > 'G.U.Y.') she could get close to 300k in the long run. As much as people like to write her off already she should still easily manage to have the biggest female album in a long while and the response to 'Do What U Want' has been very good here so fingers crossed for the rest of the album/era.

That's subjective. Eminem's songs are horrible but the public still lap them up like sheep.

Am I alone in thinking Gaga won't come close to reaching 100k next week? I think 60-80k is about it.

I agree, I think 80k max. Eminem's album should do 130k-140k and the hype for that album is waaaaaaay more than Gaga.

I would be v surprised if Gaga doesn't do 100k first week, but I don't think she'll even come close to the total sales of 'Born This Way' in the long run especially if she cocks up the single choices (which seems likely).

Not sure The Killers and Keane are going to do much now, there doesn't seem to be much interest in either. I'll be vaguely optimistic and say 50-75k for The Killers and 30-40k for Keane.

FYI, I estimate that BTW's sales are in the 955-960k range now. Also, it re-entered the album chart at #163 this week.

I don't see Gaga selling that much more than Katy Perry's album so I reckon 80-90k max as her pre order has been on iTunes since August!

I think The Killers will end up at 3 on 60k and Keane on 50k at 4 and Little Mix between 5-7 so no more than 30-40k

Eminem won't fall any further than 3 especially if he sells 100k+ this week

Very optimistic, but I can see...

01. Lady GaGa: 100k<125k (But I pressed 125k>150k in the poll I think...)

02. Keane: 75k<100k

03. Killers: 75k<100k

05. Little Mix: 30k<40k

I think Keane are going to beat Killers, JUST. I honestly think that (ok maybe the Killers will debut and peak higher but) Keane will sell a lot more with thanks to that Lily Allen cover. Ugh.

As I said very optimistic and I know sales in general are terrible, but I can't see them being too much lower than the lowest value.

Its not when you look at the top 40 and where all the pre order singles & official singles have ended up.
