November 13, 201311 yr 1D are the same age as Bieber, probably sell more records than him, tour all over the world like him, and never a whiff of bad behaviour Someone is either a naturally decent person or a natural c**t, 1D are the former and Bieber the latter The 1D boys are a lot more naturally grounded that Bieber. That helps. Plus being in a band must help. I've seen their film, and they pretty much admit none of them would be able to do what they do if they were alone. Most of them being in relationships probably helps matters. But I believe Bieber's tour is bigger, and certainly I can imagine the demands of his tour are much more than One Direction's. The latter for example don't do any big dance routines like Bieber, which you can only assume must be physically and mentally demanding.

Interesting points you made there, valid too I was speaking to a Belieber about an hour ago about Justin's behaviour and she said that he became a changed man after he became friends with Lil Twist, went from being modest and grounded into drug taking, reckless driving and generally being a total bellend Sounds like he needs to review the kind of company he keeps
November 13, 201311 yr Author Who the hell is Lil Twist though? I think he is the new Britney. Hopefully he gets his act together. I'm not a fan of his music or anything he does but it's not nice to see people going on a downward spiral.

A rapper, hangs out with Bieber a lot, was arrested for speeding in Justin's car and was in the hotel room with Justin when he was caught smoking weed

They do tend to have a reputation for laying down very clear rules about what the band can and can't do. It may be that it is easier with a band than with a solo artist. After all, you can sack one member of a band and hope to carry on but you can't sack a solo artist without losing your entire act.

True was bad comparison, real test will be how Harry lives his life when 1D split up and he goes solo which is pretty inevitable in the next 3 or 4 years
November 13, 201311 yr True was bad comparison, real test will be how Harry lives his life when 1D split up and he goes solo which is pretty inevitable in the next 3 or 4 years That will be a test. Will he have a Robbie Williams phase or will he be more like Gary Barlow? I think Robbie's behaviour was a matter of him living his teenage years slightly late and far wealthier than most teenagers.
November 13, 201311 yr This is a toughie for me TBH, cause whilst I'm a big fan of Justin and have respected and admired things he's done in the past, there's no denying that he's gone off the rails recently and as much as I'd like to defend him, I can't really. :( I think he's surrounded by people who are a bad influence on him, that's the vibe I'm getting, and of course as has been said before, the tour isn't exactly gonna be easy. I went to it and it was pretty full on, I know I couldn't do it even for one night let alone for around a year.
November 13, 201311 yr Thinking about it more I think he's pretty much just acting like a regular boy of his age right now. I don't doubt that he's immature / not particularly intelligent, but it's not something worth demonising him for when the vast majority of people in his age group are the same. I can certainly see him going down a darker road but as of right now I think things are perhaps a tad over-dramatic. I'd consider Justin a pretty ordinary person, but ordinary people always look bad in a spotlight, especially in situations like his. All I see is a guy who's a bit fed up and wants some ... dumb fun.
November 13, 201311 yr Watching 8 Out Of 10 Cats the other day, it made me realise something. When he first started out he was a really sweet kid just playing his guitar on YouTube, his early interviews he was very polite and nice and sweet. Then there seemed to be this moment where people, and not just teenagers but grown adults too, turned on a 15 year old kid and wrote vile things about him, all the looking like a lesbian, he looks like a girl, his music is sh*t, he should go away, how people would love to punch him, even comments about his death and all that from grown adults about a 15 year old kid. So what does he do? He cuts his hair, he gets more muscular, he changes the style of his music and what do those people do? They write more horrible stuff about the way he looks, his music, how they want to punch him and again comments about his death. It's no wonder he's messed up, he did nothing wrong and all he got was just disgusting stuff written about him. Fair enough what he does is wrong and he should after his tour take a really long break and think about his future but something happened somewhere in the past year or so that made him switch from the sweet kid that he once was to the way he is now and not that these people on the internet are completely to blame, but it wouldn't have helped a kid at 15/16 to read the stuff they were writing about him

I think Robbie's behaviour was a matter of him living his teenage years slightly late and far wealthier than most teenagers. Could go either way He seems a nice lad from what I have seen and read but at his age he is filling himself with tattoos so sounds like he could have a 'rock and roll' streak in him I am sure he will have a wild phase but I don't think he will let his feet get too far off the ground

I don't think he's as arrogant as Robbie for starters. If anything I would say he's had his wild phase already, you hardly hear of him in the media these days. I think as a band they're very well managed. Lessons have been learnt from previous boybands of the past, that's for sure.
November 14, 201311 yr From what I've heard... Bieber is far from the sweet boy he used to be. He's arrogant and cocky and literally treats people like he's a king or something. I like him, it's just in terms of attitudes, his stinks apparently. I'm really intrigued for the Believe movie... which is basically going to be the biggest PR stunt of the year to make our weed smoking, prostitute loving popstar look innocent.
November 14, 201311 yr At it again This time abusing the Argentine flag Someone needs to give him a good beating, maybe that might make the little shit change his ways
November 14, 201311 yr At it again This time abusing the Argentine flag Someone needs to give him a good beating, maybe that might make the little shit change his ways Same old solution then. If there's something you don't like, use violence against it.
November 14, 201311 yr Same old solution then. If there's something you don't like, use violence against it. It is extremely lucky that that behaviour didn't cause a riot If he had done that with the stars and stripes he would have been lynched by an angry mob, flags are sacred, look how we react when muslim extremists burn the union jack
November 14, 201311 yr I don't really understand why such a big deal is being made of the flag situation? He slid it off stage because it was thrown at him and landed in front of him - he could have slipped or tripped over it. I'd have done the same
