Posted November 18, 201311 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's started gaining some airplay. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. November 23, 201311 yr Hi. :D Nice to see Jake Bugg's new 'un entering, shame it's missed the Top 75 in the official charts. :( On a positive note, Shangri La looks like it could out-do the first week sales of his debut album! I've heard it's not as good as his first but it's still great to see he's not suffering the "second era curse" and flopping. I think 'Daydreaming' should have remained an album track and Paramore should have released 'Proof' or 'Hate to See Your Heart Break' - two much better songs. :wub: 'Daydreaming' will do absolutely nothing in the charts.

I can't tell whether I prefer 'What Doesn't Kill You' or 'Slumville Sunrise', they're both great uptempo tracks. :wub: Yeah, it still is along with 'Still Into You'. :wub: Whether 'Daydreaming' helps the album or not, I think it will be reduced and return to the Top 40 in the New Year so it will get a boost somehow!
