The single's stalling at #13 in the UK (Move is #14 as we speak). This needs some serious push for it to bite the ends of the top ten next week.

Off topic but their reportedly doing the Sport Relief charity single this year. According to a reliable poster on Popjustice, it's a cover of a 90's dance track.

So it's ahead of 'Move' now? That's good! (Although combined I'd imagine 'Move' is comfortably ahead) Hope it can go top 10. Even just number 10.

 

The Sport Relief single is a good move. Hopefully it's not 'Show Me Love'! I will die of happiness if it's a cover of 'Set You Free' (which I can actually see them covering for some reason!)

I was not the biggest fan of this song at first as I thought it was quite safe and there were better ones on the album. However I do understand why they chose it as a single instead of a riskier song like boy. I do really like it but I think they do need to release a different type of ballad as this is very similar to change your life, maybe they should have released these four walls?? I knew it was going to be a single though as soon as the album was released...hope it does well though as it is a great song with great meaning and very different to other girls bands... :cheer: :cheer:

There were so many choices on Salute for a second single but I figured this one would be released, it's similar in lyrical structure to Change Your Life and I guess the girls pushed for it because of its positive message.

 

Talk about single choices gives me an idea for a thread...

I've really grown to love this! I was slightly underwhelmed (well, it just paled in comparison to the rest of the amazing album) but it's become one of my top 5 on the album I'd say, along with Move, These Four Walls, Salute and Competition.

I don't mind that, I'd love Move to get over 400k and any extra push is more than welcome imo. It's kinda cool that they have two songs in the top 20 atm. :)

It's the only time of year I do think "Best of 2013" performances, should be mainly the big hits of 2013. If this was just a few days after though, I'd be annoyed :lol:

I agree, it's TOTP on New Year's Eve so it should be celebrating the big hits of 2013 and not new ones for 2014.
