16. Things Can Only Get Better

Things can only get better, especially if you find yourself trapped on the wrong side of Ireland to where you need to be, no transport, missing your train and stuck with a
man who you dislike and barely know. Spoilers, they end up falling in love and getting married. So yes Kylie, things can get better.
I digress, this is not a plot summary for the greatest movie of all time, Leap Year.
The highest and thus, last PWL song on this list, or is it? Wait and see. An album track from Rhythm of Love and one that should have been a single over What Do I Have To Do?
I do believe this was on the setlist for Anti Tour, which is fab.

I am determined to finish this, even if I just talk to myself...

15. Love Takes Over Me

A bonus track from the criminally underrated Impossible Princess album. As you'd expect, this is a rather dark and moody song.
Starts off kinda mellow then POW the chorus kicks in and everything kicks up a notch. Pure brilliance from start to finish, I loved it from the first listen
and it is truely one of her best.

14. Aphrodite

Kylie doing the whole Goddess of love 3 years before Flopga <3

Title track from Aphrodite (duh) and one of the ones used in a megamix released around the time of All The Lovers.

I have a soft spot for drummy intros and this song uses alot of drummy sounds, so I was always going to love it.

Fierce lyrics throughout and a fab opener to the Les Folies tour.

'Aphrodite' is stunning! Probably my second favourite album track from that album behind 'Cupid Boy'

13. Disco Down

Campness gone mad.
Light Years holds a couple of gems on it and this song is an opal amongst the ore.
Camp disco goodness from start to finish with some really lush vocals. An early fave of mine when I first listened to LY in full
(on a portable CD player on the way to Glasgow fyi) and loved it ever since.

12. Like A Drug

Bessie
A track from the ever flawfree X album. Alot of people wished this was a single, me being one of them.
I can imagine this tearing up the charts with a fierceness
that could ever be rivalled.
A clear highlight from the album, the way she sings the "damn right" in the second verse is just....unf.
I love the performance on the X Tour. The X megamix which Like a Drug is included is my favourite mix as well.

11. Limbo

Impossible Princess album track, wooo. Probably one of the best ones. A trippy, dark dancey track that hooks you in from
the first second. Should have been a single IMO, might have done slightly better than some of the other songs chosen as
singles from the album. Done on a few tours, the addition in the Fever tour was a nice surprise.

10. Made Of Glass

B-side to the underrated Giving You Up and another case of the b-side being better than the a-side.
I admit to not being all that keen on this on first listen, but it grew on me, alot. The talky singy verses and that
whispery chorus all adds up to a divine and perfectly produced song.

09. Love Affair

OMG, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner doing another movie together where they actually end up having a love affair would be the end of me.
Anyway, Love Affair is a Fever album track and a song that deserved the single treatment. I am not the biggest Fever fan, but this song really is one
of her best, the chorus is hypnotic and grabs you right in, the way she goes "Don't hold back it's time for a love affair" makes me all giddy
and amazing.

8. Looking For An Angel

Ahh yes. Now it gets good. Aphrodite album track and an immediate favourite when I bought the album.
Not quite a ballad but not totally uptempo either, one of a few tracks Kylie actually had a hand in writing.
This song fits alongside ATL rather nicely and shows off some of that "euphoria" Kylie mentioned alot in pre-Aphrodite
interviews. The string into is lovely too.
LOVELY.

7. Obsession

Body Language territory once again, this time with the best track on it.
SLightly different sounding to some other tracks, but still fitting in with the general feel of the album, I really adore
this song. The chorus is totally catchy "youuuuu don't need love, it's a ques-tion of obsession" funky time.

She doesn't rap in Obsession

6. Stars

Just missing out on a top 5 place in my coutdown is the divine Stars from X. The only song off X not used in the Xtour, but she included it on the Anti Tour.

Another personal song for her, written just after she beat cancer, this is a really uplifting song that is joyful from start to finish.

Slightly less electro pop and a tiny little bit sot rock pop, this stands out on X and stands out in her discography as a real shining star (lolololol)

So only 5 songs left. Anyone wanna hazzard a guess as to what they might be?
