Why is everyone saying c'mon Calvin when Alesso has as much or by the sound of it, probably more to do with it than he does? Would be good to see Hurts get a #1, even though it's not really, and Adam probably has nothing to do with it. Hope it gives their profile a boost for the next album.

Personally speaking, I said it because he's listed as the first artist and it was less of a ball ache than saying "C'mon Calvin Harris + Alesso Feat. Hurts".

Calvin  #3 :cheer:

151. Lil Chris - Christmas Number 1 (Pre-Order). Is this the same Lil Chris who had a hit with 'Checking it Out' in 2006? :o

It is indeed, he's doing a Christmas single with some lad off facebook who has a lot of followers on both facebook & Twitter.

The McFly entries are mad.

I know it's not gonna happen but I would absolutely LOVE McFly to get another Number 1 ten years into their career :) I'm definitely gonna be in loon mode this week!

Looks like 'The Spark' should become Afrojack's highest peak to date as the lead artist but only marginally - he's had 3 previous top 25 hits without making the top 20 ('Take Over Control' #24, 'No Beef' #25 and 'As Your Friend' #21), plus of course 'Give Me Everything'.

It would be brilliant, but I can't see them holding up at number 1 unless they pull a big bit of promo out of the hat this week.

Worth noting there is a CD release as well that they have heavily promoted on twitter - 3 versions available like the old days!

Congratulations to Calvin Harris, Alesso & Hurts on being #1. Hopefully they will stay there for the whole week and get the official number 1 next Sunday.
Not a fan of that Calvin track from what I've heard so hope it can stay well away from #1 and Lily can get there (or hold on if she does make it this week).
It's good that Mcfly are still going, but I wonder if they will be top 10 officially in week 2.
McFly are at 1.1514 combined, so surely they have a chance at #1.
I assume Mcfly will be number one on Wednesdays update and will end the week at #04 as they will begin free falling rather fast! Mcfly taking lessons from The Vamps regarding multiple singles though!

 6. Everything You Never Had (We Had It All) [feat. Andreya Triana] - Breach

:D

56. Hand On Heart - Olly Murs

66. Hand on Heart (Radio Mix) - Olly Murs

I hope this can go top 40 for him, although it's probably his 2nd weakest single to date (ahead of 'Heart On My Sleeve'). I really don't understand why he's released another song from the standard edition of his album when he has a re-release coming up.

Dance music has really taken off this year, a dozen of them have been at the top of the charts. The odd crazy #1 still pops up and a few dud ones.

Jahq needs to get his skates on with the music of the year. :D coming soon.

152. Céline Dion - A New Day Has Come (Radio Remix)

212. Céline Dion - A New Day Has Come

Why is this so high when "Loved Me Back To Life" has already start to fade..I'm not complain though..My favourite song and videoclip from that year (2002)..

More like the Vamps taking lessons from McFly. Don't they have the same management or something? The Vamps were supported heavily by McFly as they were starting out earlier this year.

McFly have been releasing multiple versions for years, since downloads first came about. There were often 'Dougie versions' etc. Never harmed them of course, probably one of the cheeky reasons why most of their number 1s came about!

Of course this time round its the McBusted hype that is helping the single out...

Calvin now ahead of McFly combined (Bastille are down to 0.7579 at #2 and McFly's versions combined add up to 0.9900). McFly will very likely be #1 on the mids but I think Calvin probably has it for the week now.
I heard that anyone who bought tickets for the McBusted tour was offered the chance to purchase the McBusted preorder along with their tickets order via Ticketmaster. Bearing in mind they've almost sold out 30+ dates now, I'm wondering how many sales went through that? Not sure how it worked as I ordered mine elsewhere.
