Younblood Hawke - We Come Running -x- N.B This section is officially endorsed by Calum Sande Now, objectively this section may not be as good or as popular as the section below it, but such is the nature of a LexC countdown. I suppose the key theme of this section is my appreciation of otherwise hated songs such as 'Ho Hey', 'Heartbreak Hotel' and things that Calum Sande enjoys. VV Brown appears again with Bal certified MAX TRACk 'Igneous' one spot below underrated Urban godess Ciara. yabish~
December 4, 201311 yr Author 51. Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man 52. Bastille - Of The Night 53. Zedd ft Hayley Williams - Stay The Night 54. Emmelie De Forest - Change 55. Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 56. Neon Jungle - Trouble 57. Porcelain Black - One Woman Army 58. Agnetha Falskog - Dance Your Pain Away 59. AlunaGeorge - White Noise 60. Katy Tiz - Red Cup -x- I'd like to declare this section the 'you ought to know better' section. Yes LexC rundowns always seek to celebrate the trashy, the cheesy and the downright irresponsible. Case and point, RetroRedOne2010styleeUrbanBangah 'Red Cup' by Katy Tiz. Other notable inclusions are AGEING HOMOSEXUALS' fave Agnetha Falskog (who may be appearing again later), Bastille's mashup/cover from the Dancing On Ice advert and the "comeback of the year" that to all intents and purposes was a load of overblown relics from 2003, Justin Trousersnake's 'Mirrors' (oh and it may come back to haunt me including 'Stay The Night' in 2013 rather than 2014, we shall see~~~).
December 4, 201311 yr Author You stole my nickname for Justin  Babe, that name has been public property since '06.
December 4, 201311 yr 67. VV Brown - Igneous VV Brown appears again with Bal certified MAX TRACk 'Igneous' one spot below underrated Urban godess Ciara. YAY. Best song from her this era very easily <3 Still obsessed with it. That Bastille song is very poo-poo ;D
December 4, 201311 yr Babe, that name has been public property since '06. I aquired the rights to it.
December 4, 201311 yr Zedd / Hayley Williams. One of the better songs to Have been floating around this year. Neon Jungle *.* didn't expect that!! :o
December 6, 201311 yr Author 46. Lana Del Rey - Young & Beautiful 47. Bonnie McKee - American Girl 48. Marcel Woods ft Vanbot - Bring It Back 49. Ralf Gyllenhammar - Bed On Fire 50. Eminem ft Rihanna - The Monster -x- An Eminem song I enjoy is a rare occurance. I could pour out onto this page the many, many things I dislike about that man and his music but I shall concede that 'The Monster' is a total JAM. Just above R Marshall is a man who for about two days was almost a MF favourite and the song, like eminem, is of a genre I normally can't abide but LexC knows when a good song is a good song! Next we see two of an evr decreasing number of songs per month of 'Good BJSC pop songs that also do well in contest' with 'Bring It Back' belonging to an even smaller group of 'Good 2013 BJSC winners'. As you might expect, 'Bring It Back' is the only winner on this list. And finally at 46, I'll admit openly that I have not seen 'The Great Gatsby' (before seeing 'Catching Fire' I had not been to the cinema in 2013) but Lana's VOCAL EMOTING makes one of the songs in it's, quite frankly, overhyped soundtrack, a bone-fide gem.

VV Brown appears again with Bal certified MAX TRACk 'Igneous' one spot below underrated Urban godess Ciara. yabish~ *.* 'Wonder' and 'Melodies' woop! still loving the latter so much! (not to say I'm not loving the former :kink:)
December 7, 201311 yr Author 41. Ciara ft Nicki Minaj - I'm Out 42. The Saturdays - What About Us 43. Bastille - Pompeii 44. Amandine Bourgeoise - L'Enfer Et Moi 45. Agnetha Falskog - When You Loved Someone -x- Lee Wallace OUTRAGED at The Sats so low! Just missing out on the top 40 we have a repeat occurance of Urban Godess (that should be the title of her next album (assuming there'll be a next album)) Ci-Ci. Also in this section we have the somewhat heartbreaking but all round LOVELY song 'When You Loved Someone' contrasted with the passionate and downright galic ANGER of 'L'Enfer Et Moi' (translates as "Hell and Me"). Oh and this song called 'Pompeii'. But I don't think any of you have heard of it.
December 7, 201311 yr Bastille / Saturdays :woo: Should be happy the sats ate in your chart at all :heehee:
December 10, 201311 yr Author 36. Tove Lo - Habits 37. Aliona Moon - O Mie 38. Janet Leon - Heartstrings 39. Matt Cardle & Mel C - Loving You 40. Cascada - Glorious -x- Kicking off the top 40 is 00s dance staples Cascada with their surprise and unjust Eurovision flop 'Glorious'. I suspect they were two years too late to storm Eurovision. Speaking of flops, Matt'N'Mel prove that flopstarXflopstar = minor hit *.*. Also from the sphere of ESC are Moldova's multiple *.* worthy ballad and another unjust flop fron Janet Leon. Finally we have indie-pop scandi darling Tove Lo with her song about doing drugs, going to sex clubs and picking up guys in school playgrounds. Truly an anthem for our generation.
December 10, 201311 yr Still love 'Loving You' Need to check out more of Tove Lo's material too!
December 10, 201311 yr Author 31. Demi Lovato - Heart Attack 32. Naughty Boy - La La La 33. Valentina Monetta - Crisalide 34. VV Brown - The Apple 35. P!nk - Just Give Me A Reason -x- My gah such a mainstream whore. Just Give Me A Reason and La La La, if it weren't for the overplay would most likely be higher. Also in this section is Chapter Two of the Valentina Crusade (Chapter three coming Spring 2014). Lovatics both of the Manwhore variety and otherwise rejoice as Demi Lovato lands in touching distance of the top 30. And given VV's most celebrated track from 'Samson and Delilah' is only the second highest VV entry in this chart, what could possibly be her highest entry???
December 10, 201311 yr http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/DressingGown.gif G'won P!nk. Even if it's my least favourite of the singles from this era. Also late YAYs for Ciara and The Sats :cheer:
December 10, 201311 yr NO idea what the final V V track could be. Surely not 'Samson'?? YES for 'The Apple' though. If ever a track deserved to be massive that was it. 'Habits' too! But i think Tove actually has a chance of making it next year, so excited for that.
December 12, 201311 yr Author 26. MKS - Flatline 27. Lana Del Rey/Cedric Gervais - Summertime Sadness 28. Katy Perry - Roar 29. Britney Spears - Work Bitch 30. Lady GaGa - Applause -x- And here we enter the top 30 with a veritable 'who's who' of BuzzJack stan clans. And MKS. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you much about these songs and so I shall not~~~~~~~~~
December 12, 201311 yr Author 21. Leah LaBelle - Lolita 22. Ciara - Body Party 23. Zlata Ognevich - Gravity 24. Adelen - Bombo 25. Alida - Some Of Us -x- Cruelly denied spots in the top 20 are these five songs. UrbanLex strikes again at the top of this section with uban godess CiCi's slow jam and Altyr Muunilinst's BJFestivalen winning ode to paedophilia. Naturally, both songs are about bonking. Also here we have Alida with her Ellie Goulding pastiche and 'BJSC winner that never was' in "Some Of Us". Finally, we have two songs from the ESC sphere that really could not be further apart. 'Gravity' is a Lion King reminiscent, sweeping, grandeose power ballad featuring some hot VOX action and 'Bombo' is the kind of song one might hear in a sweaty nightclub in Magaluf at 4am on a summer night. And as for the VOX. Well. Judge for yourself~ ?v=BcRpROJ6rEQ
