December 16, 201311 yr Author And there goes my support for your Y/E #1. :( Pfft. Honestly.  I expected more of a #reidject. She already has the best album of 2014 though. It's not even out yet but these two singles + being released on MY BIRTHDAY only point to amazingness. (and tbf, two songs top 10 is good!!! Although someone else has two songs still to come oops x)
December 16, 201311 yr I wow I actually love thatr Alyssa song! Why didn't you introduce me to it earlier Joseph
December 16, 201311 yr Author I wow I actually love thatr Alyssa song! Why didn't you introduce me to it earlier Joseph :angry:Â Well it's been in my chart for ages ;) It's absolutely AMAZING though, probably her 2nd best track for me, behind Alone Again of course. :kink:
December 16, 201311 yr Author THE TOP 200: #06 http://i49.tinypic.com/20pr9ft.jpg 6. The Saturdays - What About Us (feat. Sean Paul) - 6-3-2-2-2-4-6-9-10-16-17-19-8-8-10-12-12-20-15-10-4-3-6-11-14-21-23-30-31-34-36-X-34-37-X (33 non-consecutive weeks) WELL IN COME DE TING DEM CALL SEAN DE PAUL LONGSIDE DA SATURDAYS BARANGBADANGBADANG The Saturdays just miss out on the top 5 with what is IMO their third best single, What About Us. The song entered my Y/E chart last year at #12 after the American release of the song + remixes, and this year it charted significantly enough for me to be allowed in again, especially with my new found love for the Sean Paul version. The song was around for 31 consecutive weeks in my chart, helped by the prolonged release of the song, and was only held off #2 by Girls Aloud's Something New, a song that I still think is superior. This became the girls' first UK #1, and deservedly so. Fantastic pop track. LISTEN vH-sqgv9RLQ
December 16, 201311 yr Author So the top 5, in alphabetical order, is: Iggy Azalea - Work Jennifer Lopez - Live It Up (feat. Pitbull) Tom Odell - Another Love Ulrik Munther - Heroes in Defeat (Change Your Mind) Ulrik Munther - Tell the World I'm Here PREDICT!
December 16, 201311 yr What About Us :wub:Â Completely agree that it is one of their best. I probably only prefer Higher actually!
December 16, 201311 yr Author What About Us  Completely agree that it is one of their best. I probably only prefer Higher actually! Notorious and All Fired Up are my top 2, with What About Us next and Higher only just behind. They are so spot on with some singles and then so far off with others.
December 17, 201311 yr Author THE TOP 200: #05 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/TomOdell-AnotherLove.png 5. Tom Odell - Another Love - 7-3-5-6-4-5-8-6-10-12-16-19-19-21-14-18-25-24-24-26-28-33-34- (23 weeks so far) Tom Odell's highest entry makes it to #5, which is pretty good considering the song only peaked at #3 in the weekly charts. Another Love is a beautifully haunting song, and is currently Tom's only real hit officially, although I guess he's more of an album artist and his album's done decently considering the album climate these days. Another Love had been in my chart for 23 weeks at the cut-off point (week 101) and is still there currently (in week 104), meaning it could become the second longest running single of the year if it lasts past 29 weeks (What About Us not counted as it first charted in 2012. The #1 in terms of weeks is still to come here). LISTEN e-aaencD-dY
December 17, 201311 yr Tom Odell is a lad. Another Love is a tune. Â Unfortunately he's by far the best thing about your top 5. :(
December 17, 201311 yr Author WORST TOP 5 EVER. No. Tom Odell is a lad. Another Love is a tune.  Unfortunately he's by far the best thing about your top 5. :( It would genuinely have been a worthy #1, too many good songs this year. :( Can't believe it didn't even make #1 on my weekly chart (#3 behind Delta's Heart Hypnotic and Cody's Summertime of Our Lives, so not a shock back then but this has hung around far longer than they did )
December 17, 201311 yr Great to see all three Iggy tracks in your Top 20! One of my favourite new acts of the year. Not sure which is my favourite, 'Bounce' is highest on my personal year to date chart (point system based) although I probably listen back to 'Work' more. Â I didn't realise you were such a fan of 'Green Garden' by Laura Mvula! :o Wish it had done better on my chart, it's certainly her best! More material like this please, Laura.
December 17, 201311 yr Author THE TOP 200: #04 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/IggyAzalea-Work.png 4. Iggy Azalea - Work - 1-1-1-2-4-8-15-20-28-22-30-38-X (12 weeks) Iggy Azalea manages to make the top 4 with a song that literally took AGES to click with me. I pretty much went from hating Work to loving it overnight, simply because it wouldn't leave my head. It's not normally the type of song I like but Iggy's clearly got SOMETHING (don't x), I'd actually go as far as saying she's my favourite rapper. That's possibly only due to the little amount of rap I actually like but yeah. Work is fully deserving of its top 5 place here and again, would be a worthy #1! Can Ulrik make it two songs in the top 2 or will J-Lo put a spanner in the works? LISTEN _zR6ROjoOX0
December 17, 201311 yr 'What About Us' Definitely one of The Sats' best (behind 'Leave A Light On' and 'Disco Love' :)) Â 'Another Love' <3 Â 'Work' is easily Iggy's poorest IMO.
December 17, 201311 yr Pretty special top 5 so far ~ won't be for long <_<. Â 'Work' brings back SO MANY memories of Uni (all very good) so i'll love it forever <3
