December 7, 201311 yr Author So it's a bit late, but here is the artists countdown. _____ #15-#11 _____ 15 | Miley Cyrus ~~~~~ Miley used to be a little girl, but guess what? She grew up over night. yeah, one minute she was sweet and innocent and then bam!! Here comes breakout Miley. She failed to aquire a top ten hit from the moment her career started until this year in the form of the very controversial tracks WRECKING BALL / WE CAN'T STOP! Oh Miley, you've finaly done something right ;)!!!! _____ Album | Bangerz Track | Wrecking Ball _____ 14 | LADY GAGA ~~~~~ Well, Gaga used to be amazing. USED TO BE. She was quite something when she burst onto the scene with Just Dance!! She's not managed to top or even come up to that era since then for me. Although she has done one thing right since then. DO WHAT U WANT. _____ Album | The Fame Monster Track | Do What U Want _____ 13 | Jessie J ~~~~~ Jessie J has had just another average year with no #1 and a couple of above average singles and then 2 that drag her back down to the realm of normalness with us mere mortals. _____ Album | Alive Track | Sexy Lady _____ 12 | Hayley Williams / paramore ~~~~~ Hayley Williams is about to release probably her biggest single to date, but she's had quite a few chart hits with her band paramore. Will she increase on this success in the coming year? _____ Album | Riot Track | Stay The Night _____ 11 | Ke$ha ~~~~~ Ke$ha hasn't been around this year and for that reason she's only released one track. Not upto her usual peak of amazingness *.* but still good enough to get her here. _____ Album | Cannibal Track | The Harold Song
December 7, 201311 yr Author 10 | Olly Murs ~~~~~ I've never been a fan of Olly Murs. His music has always been average for me and he has one of the biggest heads in the music industry, but then something funny happened. He released Dear Darlin. An amazing tune showing that he was versatile and could come up with a decent tune. Then a second decent tune, then a third, then a fourth. What's going on? _____ Album | Right Place Right Time Track | Dear Darlin _____ 09 | Britney Spears ~~~~~ Britney always has such an impact on the charta that you forget she was actually gone once she appears. It just seems as if she always there. This year has saw her release probably her biggest risk to date in terms of single choice. She Came back with a bang anyway and whether she manages to build on it is anyone's guess. _____ Album | Britney Jean Track | Perfume _____ 08 | Kelly Clarkson ~~~~~ Kelly hasn't really been here either this year and has just released a new single. A brilliant amazing original Christmas single. Yes that's right folks. An original Christmas single. And... It sounds like it could be a classic for years to come. For this reason she enters at a respectable #8. _____ Album | Wrapped In Red Track | Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) _____ 07 | Katy Perry ~~~~~ Katy perry has had one heck of a year!! Releasing probably her biggest single to date - ROAR (which is top 15 in my EOY countdown). She's been amazing, but only reaches this far. _____ Album | Teenage Dream Track | Roar _____ 06 | Clean Bandit ~~~~~ Clean Bandit seemed like a force to be reckoned with this year releasing Mozart's House (which I can reveal is in my top 5 EOY tracks). Then came along dust clears; a brilliant dance tune :) and it's b-side Rihanna that could easily have served as another single. _____ Album | They don't have one  Single | Mozart's House
December 7, 201311 yr Author RECAP OF #15-#06 _____ 15 | Miley Cyrus 14 | Lady Gaga 13 | Jessie J 12 | Hayley Williams/Paramore 11 | Ke$ha 10 | Olly Murs 09 | Britney Spears 08 | Kelly Clarkson 07 | Katy Perry 06 | Clean Bandit
December 7, 201311 yr Author 05 | Azealia Banks ~~~~~ Azealia Banks has had a brilliant year as well. She released her best track Yung Rapunxel this year which is just an all round amazing track. The video is just amazing if not weird. I know she's not for everyone, but she's for me :) _____ Album | Broke With Expensive Taste Track | Yung Rapunxel
December 7, 201311 yr Author 04 | Alanis Morissette ~~~~~ This was the year I really grew to love and appreciate Alanis for all the music she's brought to the table. Unlikely as it was though, I never really fell for anything that she's released just recently, still though, every artist has that one album you can't really appreciate. _____ Album | Flavors Of Entanglement Track | Underneath
December 7, 201311 yr Author I'll announce the top 3 in FIVE minutes. Give you guys time to catvh up :)
December 7, 201311 yr Author 03 | Demi Lovato ~~~~~ This year started off amazing for Demi. A top 3 hit that was heart attack and then it all went to pot in typical fashion. She released Made In The USA and it charted at #89 but let's not snub it!! It's a very very good song :) She even had the chance to record the them track for Disney brilliant new amazing Frozen. Go DEMI!! Next she's releasing Neon Lights and even has a world tour on the way. Neon Lights really is her best track to date. Demi really has had a brilliant year. She's on the up and I for one am excited to see what happens next year :D _____ Album | DEMI Track | Neon Lights Edited December 7, 201311 yr by jsg2013
December 7, 201311 yr Author 02 | Icona Pop ~~~~~ Icona Pop have had an amazing year so far. First they release worldwide hit I Love It which racked up more than 5 million record sales worldwide. To many it's cemented them into one hit wonder stardom but not for me. After that they released the even better 'All Night' and now they're about to release another fantastic track - Just Another Night. They keep getting better and better. Can't wait to see what they do next year :D _____ Album | This Is... Icona Pop Track | All Night
December 7, 201311 yr Author This was always gonna be the case but you all know who my #1 is and it was never (Lets be serious) gonna be anyone else.
December 7, 201311 yr Author 01 | The Saturdays ~~~~~ Well well well. Who wasn't expecting this? Although it was close between the top 3. they've all had amazing hits this year and the three of them are 3 of my favourite artists, but anyway. The Saturdays had claimed the notoriety of managing to always or almost always managing to get a hit but guaranteeing they would never get a #1 and then something spectacular happened. They were on course for worldwide stardom by taking on the U S of A, but yeah seriously, in typical Saturdays style they buggered it up and it all went to pot but they gained a #1 out of it. I wasn't expecting it. I don't think anyone was. Then they release the equally tragic but still good single Gentleman (Stupid choice) and then the amazing Disco Love. They released their best album to date (for me) and on that album is their best track to date. Not Giving Up. They've had a rollercoaster of a year and I AM PROUD to be a Saturdays fan!! _____ Album | Living For The Weekend Track | Not Giving Up Edited December 7, 201311 yr by jsg2013

December 7, 201311 yr Author 24 | Britney Spears - Ooh La La chart run [09-16-19-12-17-17-20-22-22-21-24-37-62-68-73-74-xx] 563 points | charted 16 weeks JSG PEAK #09 | Official Peak #72 _____ Haha! That's all i can say!! I loved this little cringeworthy track at the time, but looking back I wish I hadn't been so loving of it!! Charting at #72, makes this one of Britters lowest charting tracks to date, but atleast it charted right? That's more than can be said for some artists. 1pXBO-2kHE Edited December 7, 201311 yr by jsg2013
