Great to see Hurts here! (as well as Lily and Eminem) Thought that A$AP might have been a bit higher though.

Been hearing that Drake song a lot recently and I'm really liking it as well as Sampha's full version.

I'm in the zone

111. The Weeknd – Kiss Land

112. V V Brown – Faith

113. Lady Gaga – Artpop

114. Drake ft. Sampha – Too Much

115. Autre Ne Veut – World War

116. Nicki Minaj ft. Lil Wayne – High School

117. The Irrepressibles – Two Men In Love

118. The Vamps - Wildheart

119. Kid Cudi ft. Haim – Red Eye

120. Postiljonen – Atlantis

Postiljonen sexy-sax infused jam starts off this group, one of my BIG summer anthems. The Vamps muster up a very decent position for one of the most recent songs on the countdown just ahead of a hidden gem from Cudi's latest effort - the dark stomper 'Red Eye' with Haim (and the only song from them i have a lot of time for). Two epic tracks from The Irrepressibles and Autre Ne Veut each painstakingly gorgeous in so many ways sandwich the filthy 'High School'. Drake and Sampha score their second hit here (and the one i think you meant RH) alongside the title track from Gagz' 2013 offering. A number one on my pc but missing the top 100 (don't think it's even the worst performing #1 actually) from The Weeknd and another beauty from V V Brown whose album just keeps on growing with every listen.

Glorious  Some other real gems so far too, and this is all outside the top 100! Maybe I should have gone down further than 100, there are another 60-odd songs at least that I LOVED that missed out on my countdown.
High School  Craving new Nicki so bad! Hopefully we get a new album from her in 2014.

Sandcastles and all that shit that i like

101. Katy Perry – Walking On Air

102. Jay Z – Nickels and Dimes

103. SZA - Castles

104. Justin Timberlake – Mirrors

105. MDNGHT ft. Lana - I Will Lead You On

106. Klangkarussel – Sonnentanz

107. London Grammar – Strong

108. Katy B – I Like You

109. Cody Simpson – If You Left Him For Me

110. Joel Compass – Back To Me

Starting off with something from Joel Compass who i hope makes it big, the video alone is enough to chart it high but thankfully the song with his voice is equally as chilling. And something that WILL be big in 2014 is 'Little Red', the first track from which just misses out on the top 100. Also included is the track that should have opened up this campaign for Cody, a stunner from LG and surprise chill-out tune of the summer from Klangkarussel. The song that begins one of my BIG albums of the year from SZA perfectly sums up why i love her so much; raw, affectionate and so, so honest with her lyrics. The Kubrick/Gaga referencing highlight from Jay Z which in turn closes his album joins Katy's joyous jam which only recently hit me. Not many songs make me feel this damn good.

'Mirrors' far too low. Far too low.

But also YAY for High School and Glorious. <3

Walking On Air

REALLY hope it becomes a single at some point! Agree that Mirrors is too low!

I was originally going to do a top 40 but i had around 50 from the first 2 months alone so just had to extend it

High School  Craving new Nicki so bad! Hopefully we get a new album from her in 2014.

It's definitely coming! Need a 'Moment For Life' type opener.

Think i overplayed it tbh. Still adore it though and the video is stunning too <3

I completely ignored it for too long. Still growing on me and probably my second favourite off the album now after 'Unconditionally' so YES must be a single.

omg Boy is a Bottom 4 places higher than in my own YE chart oops

119. Kid Cudi ft. Haim – Red Eye

Never heard this before WOW

a hidden gem from Cudi's latest effort - the dark stomper 'Red Eye' with Haim (and the only song from them i have a lot of time for).
Oh. Are you sure? :(

Bottom for you again :(

I've given their singles a chance and they really didn't entice me enough to go onto the album :( and WOW indeed. Who knew they'd work so well together? Huge

This strange obsession grabs my mind

91. Bastille – Pompeii

92. The Kite String Tangle - Given The Chance

93. Eli & Fur - Tonight

94. Lady Gaga – Venus

95. Truls - Out Of Yourself

96. SZA – Terror.Dome

97. Gems – Medusa

98. The Weeknd – Belong To The World

99. Claire – Games

100. Lady Gaga – Donatella

Gaga starts off the top 100 (will she be close to closing it too?) with 'Donatella' an early highlight for me but one that has since gone down in my affections slightly. Dare i say it's TOO camp even for her. She also has another song here which took the reverse route of being pretty much loathed to gradually entering my garden and refusing to leave. A few BJSC beauties including the underrated 'Games', the otherwordly 'Out Of Yourself', a winner and one of my own entries too. The Weeknd return with this fiery stomper that took it's damn time to hit me, but left me stunned when it did. Goodness knows what's happened to Bastille with their latest offering, but here they were all over my uni playlist so the memories are still bliss. And not forgetting SZA again, who twists one of my favourite ever films into this melancholic masterpiece; there's a plot against her, and i'm in on it.

91. Bastille – Pompeii

100. Lady Gaga – Donatella

Only like these 2 hun. :( 'Venus' makes me want to shove a knife up my nose. :(

Don't let me fall, always remember us

81. Katy B – Crying For No Reason

82. Jessie Ware – Imagine It Was Us

83. Lady Gaga ft. T.I., Too Short & Twista – Jewels N Drugs

84. Kanye West ft. God – I Am A God

85. Alyssa Reid – Satisfaction Guaranteed

86. Ciara ft. Nicki Minaj – I’m Out

87. James Blake ft. RZA – Take A Fall For me

88. Vanbot – Hold This Moment

89. Autre Ne Veut – On & On

90. Pawws – Slow Love

The second of my BJSC entries (i can confirm that all 10 made it somewhere in the top 100!) is from the beautiful Pawws. Autre Ne Veut get a non-album release here too with pretty much everything his sexy hands have touched turning into hausgold and another #1 from my PC doesn't quite live up to it's initial hype. Album highlight from James Blake teamed with the mysterious but oh-so essential RZA is next followed by the Queen of underperforming even when teamed with Nicki, but she manages to muster up a decent peak here with one absolute belter left to feature. Alyssa should probably have been slightly lower here but having been oddly turned on by her clearly dwindling sex appeal in the video i thought i'd offer a bit of added much needed affection for the poor sod (WATCH NOW - video of the year?). Featuring the album's best lyrics, the most heavenly collaboration in the countdown with the Man himself is not even the oddest grouping in this section as Gaga gets her swagboots on for the gigantic mess that is 'Jewels N Drugs'. Whether that *cough* at the start is intentional or not, it's one of many moments in the song *.* And two absolute beauties close this section, one that really didn't light up for others as it should and one that i'm praying doesn't follow suit. Too stunning to ignore.

YES for Satisfaction Guaranteed. *.* Pawws should not be the second-lowest of your entries, it's too good. :(

The likes of Pompeii, Crying For No Reason, Tonight and Out Of Yourself in the top 100 is all very lovely.

I was never as keen on Pawws as my other entries (i still LOVE LOVE it obviously just not as much as the others). Glad to know it had its fans though ^_^

I'm Out  Seriously amazing. I need to hear it in a club!!

Should have come to London with us a few months ago then :o It went down <3 Will be worth the wait though for you.

It's cool to be lonely

71. Autre Ne Veut – Gonna Die

72. A$AP Rocky – Fashion Killa

73. Kanye West – Blood On The Leaves

74. Until The Ribbon Breaks – 2025

75. Novaday - Beautiful Lies

76. The Vamps – Can We Dance

77. Katy B – Aaliyah

78. Autre Ne Veut x Fennesz - Alive

79. Clams Casino - I'm God

80. Disclosure ft. London Grammar – Help Me Lose My Mind

Getting into the serious, serious realms now with songs that looked to be as high as top 20 in their peaks, but in such a jam-packed year they've all fallen considerably. Starting off with Disclosure who have one other entry in the chart slightly higher, teamed with London Grammar, perfectly combining two of my big discoveries of the year. Two of my favourite BJSC entries from Clams Casino (a wild rush) and Novaday (a dreamy trip down memory lane) as well as the third of my own entries; the spectacular '2025'. Autre Ne Veut charts twice, with the haunting 'Alive' and then ironically with 'Gonna Die' which together show how his music has impacted me recently and how full-circle his messages have come throughout the year. Something we will hopefully be hearing a lot more of next year now it's been given the Little Red all-clear from Katy B, and The Vamps with one of the guilty pleasures of the year narrowly miss out on the top 75. BIG highlights from Kanye and A$AP Rocky; 'Blood On The Leaves' is one of his bravest/most explosive songs yet and just a rollercoaster of filthy synths, whereas 'Fashion Killa' is an oddly camp? song in an already overtly extravagant album from the $ap.
