Bingo Players’ Maarten Hoogstraten announced today on the group’s Facebook page that his DJ partner, Paul Bäumer, lost his battle to cancer yesterday, December 17. A message from the group’s Maarten Hoogstraten thanks fans for their support and confirms the cancellation of gigs and events through the end of 2013.

What? No way :o :( That's very sad news considering 'Rattle' was one of my tunes of the year. We can only hope that Maarten continues to make music but I imagine we won't be hearing any new songs from him for a while.

R.I.P to Paul Baumer (On the right in the image below). It's a fitting tribute that in his last year on Earth he got a UK #1 with Get Up (Rattle)
