I don't think it really has a chance for number 1. I just hope it goes top 10, maybe 5 and gets some longevity as well as having the radios pick it up.

I don't care where it charts as long as it sticks around. I HATE seeing them drop out of the top ten in their second week and then out of the top 40 a few weeks later. :(
I know it won't happen, but imagine if they beat Little Mix to number one.
Another thing, let's hope it makes the album reaper in the top 200. It should ALSO help What About Us get that long overdue Gold. It must be on about 394k by now...
Not sure about that. It was on a little under 388,000 at the beginning of January. Doubt it's sold 6k+ in 4 weeks while not in the Top 200.

They should release it the week after or before.

People think it might be because they want to perform on the Sport Relief show whihc wouldn't be that much of a stretch. Still, it's weird.

 I can't see this hitting off tbh, how are their management still gaining profit from them? It's a shame, they should be huge, 'Gentlemen' killed them.

Gentlemen killed them as did Forever Is Over, Wordshaker going 9-40, My Heart Takes Over, On Your Radar charting at 7507, 30 Days killed them too. I am pretty sure people said it was over after If This Is Love didn't go top 5 to.

I don't get the love for this song, but it does seem extremely popular with their fanbase so I'm glad they are releasing it and I'm looking forwards to the video. So happy Frankie is back, I realised when she was away how much I need her in The Sats to care, will be good to have all five back on form!

 that made me laugh, it used to really annoy me when people said that about 'If This Is Love' especially seen as at that time it felt really rare for a new girl group to just crop up and grab a top 10.

I should have phrased what I said better, 'Gentlemen' sort of killed this era from carrying on it's buzz from 'What About Us'.

Management or label? The management makes a lot on money off their back, they are literally on a magazine cover or a talk-show every single month, sometimes more than once a month. They always do a lot of gigs during the Summer which brings in a lot of money too. And every other endorsement brings its fair share of cash. Considering Polydor has a deal with Peter/their management and gets profits of their management, that's also how the label makes a bit of money with The Saturdays.

In the end, the girls probably don't make much because everything seems to be cut to go into the management and then the label's pocket, but at least, they still have a record deal because of that!

Forever is Over over 180,000 copies sold

On Your Radar and Wordshaker both achieved Silver

30 Days did go top 10

even though they are 'flops' the girls haven't done that bad and they make money for all their side projects too

I am aware of the facts. I was just making a point that at various points in every era it has been "the end as they have flopped"

Yeah, but then they always bounce back :D

To be fair to them, they've overcome so much and somehow managed to survive it. There have been several points when I thought they were pretty much done.

I don't know how they do it, but fair play to them. They're indestructible.

I think we constantly try to compare their current success with the success of their first era. They set the bar high and I don't know that they'll ever achieve that level of success again. Just because they are less successful than they were doesn't mean they are flopping. Some of their releases have underperformed but they are still a big name and are pulling off Top 10 singles and albums so they are doing just fine.

So dance routine hopes.

No mic stands thank you very much! I will also cut a bitch if for the "if you tell me no" part they stand still wagging one finger.

Thinking about dodgy moments or choices like Forever is Over, Gentleman, My Heart Takes Over - and how they bounced back, Not Giving Up is a lot more bankable than those songs - so I'm sure they'll be fine.
