Oh well, it was a successful campaign really. Surely it could well end up top 5 today. I know sales aren't great, but still, that's way better than I imagined it would do.

Well not really, given that it was intended to stop the X-Factor winner getting to no.1.

Still, it joins what is a very short list of campaign type songs that have actually made a significant impact.

Playing a song on the show before doesn't mean it's not in the chart.

There was one occasion in which one song I can't remember the name of was the last played in the preceding show and was played again minutes later as the #39 entry.

Yeah, when I Could Be The One was number one, it was the first song on Dan and Phil's show.
Wham improved 4 places up to 36 so yes it was played twice in an hour. Maybe shoulda played a different song!

 11. Beyonce "Drunk In Love"

 12. AC/DC "Highway To Hell"

Not falling as fast as I thought, wonder if AC/DC can sneak a second week T40.

 37. John Newman "Losing Sleep"

Hoping this can sneak in a week T40 once all the Christmas tracks drop out, shame the album campaign hasn't gone well bar "Love Me Again".

Beyoncé  10

Great news! I hope she can climb fast enough so she isn't overtaken by old hits once the gift card effect kicks in therefore dropping back out of the top 10.
