The thing is if she is on the John Lewis advert. The song can be added to 'Christmas With Love' in a repack, and then it's got two singles selling it.

Leona has a private gig in a few days time, so hopefully we'll get an interview or two from her and some footage. :)

 

Also, please note that the John Lewis thing is just a rumour, there's nothing solid/evidence that she will be doing it. :)

The private gig is tonight and a Leona fan got access to a stream and said he'll record it for us! :D

 

She also has another gig which will be televised on 8th November, so hopefully we might even get a new song to be performed then! :D

The Paloma advert was in 2012 and it wasn't the Christmas advert. It was just a general campaign in September.

Good news guys. A Leona fan who has a very reliable source has been told that we're definitely getting something released early next year (very likely a single)!

 

Also, the same Leona fan managed to record a concert Leona did last night:

 

 

It was recorded from a stream, so the sound isn't 100% at times but Leona looked stunning and sounded really nice :) Her backing singers were a bit bad imo and she also covered "Hotel California" and sounded great on it!

Leona is performing at an event tonight which will be broadcast at a later date (it's apparantley being broadcast in 145 countries when it is). There's a high chance she performs new material at this concert she's doing, so I really hope we'll get some footage from those that are going! :D

^ Sadly there was no new song on the setlist, however because the show will be broadcast we'll get some HQ performances from it! Including a HQ performance of "Titanium" & "Hotel California". Leona sounded really good in a couple snippets. Her voice has recently been a bit off due to her losing it about a month ago because of illness and also she was in the studio a lot so it became quite tired. It's sounding like Leona's recovered/is resting her voice well. Fingers crossed will get a broadcast soon! :D

 

 

Also, Leona's body is looking good & in shape. That's normally a sign that things are upon us! :D

Leona has now been recording with Leah McFall (The Voice UK runner-up) and Jim Eliot (Anything Could Happen, Heart Skips a Beat, Dear Darlin', 2 Hearts, All The Lovers).

She was working with Toby Gad when she was with Leah so I think that Leah and Leona might of just met rather than worked together, or did backing vocals on a song? Leona/Leah collab would be very interesting though!

Time to take things into my own hands

 

I’d been waiting for so long to be told what the next step is in my career. Being lead by my previous label in every way. Last year I realized that’s not the way to make meaningful creations. You cant put a date on inspiration, you don’t know when and where it will come from, it’s just something you feel. Little did I know, this would spark something inside me that would be the start of my next record.

 

I remember the day I went in to go sit with Toby and just listen to music and get inspired. I had been on a promotional tour and was ready to start getting into where I wanted to go next. I called my a&r at the label, and harassed them non stop but was met with no support and told to wait for Simon to call me. I was frustrated and hurt that I was left to just float in the sea until they felt like it was time to pluck me out and become interested again.

I sat in the studio and toby began playing this music that was so uplifting it captivated me into writting and recording our first song in about two hours. I was so happy, fulfulled and empowered. It didn’t take someone at my label to tell me when I’m allowed to be creative or express myself.

 

This ignited the path and I’ve since spent a lot of time in the studio writting about the feelings I’ve felt the past couple of years. The battles, the struggles, the highs and the lows. The only way I’ve made it through with any sanity is to write about it and get it out.

Right now I’m in London, recording with some of my favorites including Biff and Ash whom I adore! Toby is here with me, and we are on a mission. My heart is full and I’m fired up.

I just hope she isn't going to piss them off too much, because X Factor promo has always been a given for her.

To be fair, it's more at the label than Simon himself. I know he's the person in charge but he still seems to be supportive of her from what I have seen.

 

I think that it's because she was the first proper success story that he has a soft spot for her.

Ye, Simon didn't have much to do with it, it was mainly the other people on her team it seems from reading through everything.

Her and Simon are still on good terms. I've got no worries about her being snubbed from an X Factor performance.
