An advert was used during Xtra factor and it boosted the album up a place on iTunes. Hardly anyone watches Xtra factor compared to the main show so it goes to show that an advert durin X Factor would have done wonders, as it helped more than the Lotto performance!

(Is there another episode tomorrow? If so, fingers crossed)

There is another episode tomorrow, so here is hoping.

Do you think the Hyde Park gig will have any effect, apparently it's a 50 minute set and it's broadcast on Radio 2 and you can view it on the red button live.

Since Radio 2 play the whole thing I can see it helping - though not quite as many people listen to the radio on weekends it's still the biggest station in the UK. Red button won't help much though I don't think, as not many will tune into that - mostly fans if anything.

Yeah I was thinking it would have less listeners being a Sunday, but hopefully it gives the album a nice boost.

No8 on the first set of midweeks according to someone on here. I fear it may miss the top10 which would be a bad result.
I Got You sounding amazing live.

Finally got round to listening to the album in full now. A very solid album, the only tracks I would rate as a 3 star (or lower) on first full listen are Thank You and TB&TW.

Typically, I only just caught the end of the radio 2 live set at hyde park. What songs did she perform? I saw Run at the end (didn't sound as good as usual if I am honest).

I didn't see it but she performed I Am, Better In Time, Fire, Bleeding Love, I Got You and Run. There may be others but that's all I've read so far.
Thanks for that Dmdr! Really liked the performances of I Am and I Got You.

I really had not even toyed with the idea that the album would miss the top 5 and now it is a possibility it will miss the top 10. I had high hopes for this era but everything sadly is going wrong, the singles have beyond flopped and the album will most likely follow and none of it deserved.

What can she do from here to turn it all around.

Let's just give it till the end of the week to see where the chips truly fall. Remember in the UK, we really do not know the impact of the little promo that has been done on physical sales. I have plenty of thoughts on your question; we've all, of course, had since the beginning :) I just don't want to jump in criticism when things are far from over.

I think with this album it is best to judge it in the long run (by the end of year anyway). This is one of the busiest weeks for album releases from this entire year (with 15 new entries in the midweek for this album chart so far), so it was always going to be tough to get a great peak without a hit single behind it. We do not know everything that Island have got planned for this album yet though so just got to hope for the best that they sort themselves out in regards to pushing the right singles and getting the right promo. Christmas, With Love debuted at 25 and only peaked at 13, however it has gone gold selling over 100k (more than Glassheart) so is still considered a success. I am trying not to focus too much on its chart peak, more its longevity. The inevitable drop next week is where I start to worry (depending on how far it falls).

Ohhh will she be performing? Or will it be that car karaoke? The latter has given some big worldwide boosts in the past.

I'm thinking Royal Blood will be performing.

I hope it is car karaoke. If she did bleeding love, better in time, happy (and maybe I see you) along with thunder I think that would help remind America who she is and hopefully reconnect some of her old fans that had lost interest over time (still don't understand why Glassheart never even got a release there).

Leona is on Monday, they are on Tuesday.

Yeah I'd really love it to be the car karaoke with 'Bleeding Love', 'Happy', 'One More Sleep' and 'Thunder'. Might as well get everyone in the mood for Christmas early.

Car Karaoke would be great promo! I really hope it's that!
Caught her GMA performance. She was pitch-perfect, but I think the guitars were a bit too loud. When her voice is so good, it tends to be what I prefer to hear over everything else. Maybe it's just my earphones :) Great start to the week, though. Grindr is a very interesting promo option. I'm sure if it gives good results, she good start a major trend...much as its been done before. To success... :cheer:
