Currently it's on just under 44,000 sales. Its instant grat sales are unknown and don't count towards its official total.

I had included instant grat sales but they were just under 15,000 which still makes my figure wrong, i dont know how i miscalculated my sales for this single, including instant grat they still would have almost 60,000 sales achieved already.

#75 and #312.

I'm sure the EP and pre-orders will ensure that it will climb within the top 40 this week. I'm expecting it to be around #34 at the end of the week and maybe top 20 on Wednesday mids.

#21

in the midweeks as posted by Martin in the charts forum.

The EP has slipped to #7 on iTunes as well. Why wasn't there a physical?

Respectable considering there's been zero promo and [close to] zero effort put into the release on the whole. Hopefully it can manage

top 20

by Sunday!

Do we need to spoiler this? :kink: Will do just in case...

I doubt it'll climb into the Top 20, because '#Selfie' is only a place behind 'MM' and that is steadily climbing iTunes. I think 'MM' is more likely to drop come Sunday. How awkward that its peak position will end up being lower than 'You and I' and 'Don't Forget Where You Belong'! (Neither of which should have charted so high, that was a strange instant grat related mistake~)

Yeah I don't think this will be top 40 on Sunday.

Charts at #39.

Bit embarrassing, but t'was fairly obvious it would happen (yay for them at least getting a top 40 hit out of it ). Probably going to free-fall out of the top 100 soon. :drama:

Eek. That's a rather dramatic end to their run of Top 10 singles! Chart peaks to date (not including 'Wishing On A Star)': 1-3-9-3-1-9-1-2-2-39

(Also not including 'More Than This' in the above peaks, because Joseph would murder me. pe88.gif )

This is what happens when Zayn doesn't get a solo verse. :smoke:

!

now you say it, that's probably why http://i59.tinypic.com/1sz7mo.png

The album went up to 13 so the single did what it was meant to do, but #39 is still very poor. All they needed to do was stick a new song on the EP (or release a better song and stick a new song on its EP) but no chance of Syco doing anything that involves complex thought.
One Direction are releasing latest single Midnight Memories as a 7” vinyl picture disc as part of Record Store Day 2014.

One Direction are set to release the title track from their latest album, Midnight Memories, as a limited edition 7” picture disc. The single, which will be backed with a live version of Rock Me from their documentary film This Is Us, is being released as part of Record Store Day 2014.

The now annual event, which promotes the importance of independent record shops, sees hundreds of bands release specially commissioned, limited edition physical product every year. They will only be available from your local independent record shop on Record Store Day, and when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Not really the physical release I was hoping for!
