He's in hot water again recently for posing with a gun.

I have to admit I did cringe when he felt the need to defend himself with "I'm 100% not gay"... just, it's not something to defend, if people think you're gay then let them... just be confident in yourself and who you are.

Yeah it's not exactly an insult, but I can understand him wanting to put the rumours right, especially when he has a girlfriend and has been in a long-term relationship.

Oh hmm... I really don't think he was being intentionally homophobic, but he has a habit of putting his foot in his mouth. Honestly I don't think you could get by in the music industry these days while being homophobic - there's bound to be some members of their team who are gay.
