December 27, 201311 yr I really want to see this tour, but manchester date is on the bf's birthday, i dont think he'd be too happy if i ditched him on his birthday to see Miley  may think about one of the other dates closer to the time though if there are still tickets available :)
December 27, 201311 yr I really wish I'd booked tickets for this, would love to see / hear her live (especially 'FU'). Hopefully there'll be a DVD release though, sure sales for that would be extremely impressive!
January 13, 201411 yr Author I'm not sure how this will do commercially, I expected her dates to sell out immediately. She's not sold out anywhere in the US or the UK. She sold out Italy within 2 hours though.
January 13, 201411 yr Author 7 Things is confirmed to be performed along with an acoustic performance of 'The Climb' and 'Summertime Sadness'.
January 13, 201411 yr I really want to see this tour, but manchester date is on the bf's birthday, i dont think he'd be too happy if i ditched him on his birthday to see Miley  may think about one of the other dates closer to the time though if there are still tickets available :) He has no idea how lucky he is to have his birffday the same date as a Miley concert, it stinks for you that he doesn't like her. I'm goign to see her in Montréal on march 29, i can't wait I wanna meet her but my tickets aren't VIP.
January 13, 201411 yr I hope she doesn't change up her old songs too much to fit them with her current sound. Seeing her in Birmingham, can't wait :D
January 25, 201411 yr No dig at Miley or anything, but I think this tour's ticket sales goes to show that you can be in the limelight and sell heaps of singles but that doesn't guarantee a sell-out tour. The likes of Gaga, who's deemed a flop with Artpop, is outselling almost Miley 2:1 with her ticket sales so far and her complete tour dates haven't even been announced yet. Slayage <3 This Forbes article pretty much substantiates this. Miley's prices might be a bit too high or there's just no long-term appeal, which is kind of baffling, you'd think her most successful era would be followed by her most successful tour, but it's quite far off from that.
January 25, 201411 yr Author Ticket prices are shockingly expensive - I fully agree. I'm surprised she's not began promoting 'Adore You' on television shows which could help shift a couple of extra tour ticket sales.

February 10, 201411 yr Author Miley Cyrus has described her latest tour as "educational". The 'Wrecking Ball' singer said that it will expose children to art that they may not get to see otherwise. Cyrus told Fuse News: "Even though parents probably won't think this, I think my show is educational for kids. They're going to be exposed to art most people don't know about. "People are taught to look at things so black and white, especially in small towns. "I'm excited to take this tour to places where [art]like this wouldn't be accepted, where kids wouldn't learn about this different kind of art." Cyrus recently revealed details about her upcoming 'Bangerz' tour, claiming she would be giving away collectible merchandise by dropping it on her audiences. "I'll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table," she said. "My thing has never been about me making money. I did [that] when I was a kid. "I made the money I needed to make, and now it's about putting money into the tour and making sure my fans get the best show, [making] it worth going to see." Miley Cyrus's 38-city 'Bangerz' tour kicks off in Vancouver on February 14. She will appear at London's O2 Arena on May 6, with later gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Belfast.
February 15, 201411 yr Author So it turns out she sold out Vancouver with less than 5 hours before the event. Miley Updates @MileyUpdateNY 6h Miley will add more tour dates next month! I'm surprised she's not done any promotion for 'Adore You' to help sell tickets further which is rather disappointing. Adore You is #14 on USA iTunes with rather horrific airplay. The Tour has had a rather large effect on iTunes it seems. Bangerz is #04 and #33.
February 15, 201411 yr Those bangerz are divine. http://i59.tinypic.com/1sz7mo.png The album has rebounded so well on iTunes as it was reduced in price, the tour only started last night. I'm still searching everywhere for the setlist tho :drama:
February 15, 201411 yr Well I'm not surprised, she's only performing "Bangerz" songs bar "Party In The USA" and "Can't Be Tamed" I've spoilered just in case people don't want to know the set list :)
February 16, 201411 yr Hollywood Life: Miley Cyrus Shows Cr*tch & Naked B*tt At ‘Bangerz’ Tour Opener http://pmchollywoodlife.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/miley-cyrus-bangerz-tour-gty-lead.jpg She’s baaaack. Miley returned with a vengeance on Feb. 14, opening her ‘Bangerz’ tour in Vancouver and topping all the wild expectations with a line of racy outfits. We’ve had Feb. 14 circled on our calendars for months, and not because it was Valentine’s Day. Feb. 14 was the first night of Miley Cyrus‘ “Bangerz” tour, and the controversy-loving singer did not disappoint, twerking and gallivanting around her elaborate stage in a series of wild costumes. The Vancouver audience must’ve known they were in for a show when Miley emerged from a massive picture of her own face. Taking a ride to the stage down a slide that acted as the big-faced Miley’s tongue, the singer was already stunning in a sparkly red two-piece, cr*tch-baring number with furry shoulders. And that was just the beginning. Miley later took the stage in one of her naughtiest outfits to date — a marijuana-leaf-bedazzled, thonged on*sie with a plunging neckline. Miley made things even raunchier by then bending over and giving everyone a look at her bare b*tt, and later gyrating all over a car that was wheeled out on stage. Some of Miley’s other in-concert outfits included a white number that barely covered her intimates, an almost completely sheer futuristic outfit, and an extremely sexy red dress. Wow — that’s all we can say. To be fair, we had more than a few opportunities to see this coming. Miley first gave us a taste of what her on-stage behavior was going to resemble during her stint on the Jingle Ball tour. The singer ramped up the sexiness by wearing cr*tch-baring on*sies and twerking on a guy dressed as Santa Claus. She also showed off her flair for the unique during her performance on MTV’s Unplugged. Instead of going the usual route of wearing something revealing, Miley rocked an odd-looking, baggy faux denim suit and a gingham, cowgirl-inspired outfit. Both of those sexy, unique elements were visible during her performance in Vancouver and honestly, we’re into it. – Andrew Gruttadaro
February 16, 201411 yr Rolling Stone: 8 Most Outrageous Moments of Miley Cyrus' 'Bangerz' Show http://assets-s3.rollingstone.com/assets/images/story//8-most-outrageous-moments-of-miley-cyrus-bangerz-show-20140215/20140215-miley-x600-1392480444.jpg Last night in Vancouver, Canada, Miley Cyrus kicked off her much-hyped Bangerz world tour with both her immense talent and self- deprecation intact. In fact, if you approached the night as a drinking game centered around "famous Miley-isms" – extended tongues, strange singing cat animations, frottage and the like – well, you probably passed out long ago, never to remember the show. Cyrus delivered on the campy, the vampy and an assortment of other cheeky behaviors with a clear aim to distance herself ever further from the land of Hannah Montana. That said, looking past the "shock and awe," Cyrus delivered fantastic vocals all evening long. As for some of the night's most memorable moments? 1. She looooves gooooooollllld Available for sale next to the T-shirts and tour books was quite possibly the world's most expensive, mass-produced rolling papers. Official Bangerz rollies were $40 a pack, which included two 24 karat sheets; the perfect gift for those who literally have money to burn. 2. Her entrance was self-mockification, magnified When the house lights dimmed, all eyes were focused at the back of the stage where a massive 50-foot screen projected a pre-made video of Miley's head, her eyes rolling and her mouth opening and closing, robot-style. Suddenly, out of that video "mouth" fell a massive, inflatable tongue. The actual Miley then emerged from between her own tonsils, and she took a ride to the stage floor via her pink slippery slope, while the audience screams filled the stadium. 3. Although there were multiple fabulous drag queens in the crowd, Queen Miley repeatedly won best-dressed Designers Roberto Cavalli, Jeremy Scott, the Blonds and Marc Jacobs all made outfits specifically for this tour, and Cyrus also purchased vintage Bob Mackie outfits for the occasion. It was a cavalcade of sparkling onesies, the likes of which are only otherwise seen at world championship skating competitions. And speaking of athletics. . . 4. She may have invented a new Olympic sport: giant hot dog straddling Cyrus' last song before the encore was a raucous version of "Someone Else," which turned the hockey arena into a giant nightclub. As the beat kicked up a notch, the singer climbed aboard a 20-foot long wiener, which was then raised high above the crowd. Her legs gripped that phallic pony as it carried her halfway across the arena and back again to the stage, to the audience's delight. 5. When she says she loves pot, she means it literally One of Miley's backup dancers was dressed as a joint, which the singer repeatedly leg-humped during "We Can't Stop," the first of her encore numbers. And if the joint blew out, the rest of her dancers were dressed as giant lighters, just in case. "Always Do-Be Prepared" as stoner Boy Scouts say! 6. Speaking of Boy Scouts. . . When Miley surprised the crowd by showing up on the opposite side of the venue for the much- anticipated acoustic part of the set, she was dressed solely in a baggy shirt — with her own glittery picture on it – and a backwards ball cap, looking remarkably like Justin Bieber. 7. Her taste in other people's music is quite impressive During a pre-prepared video interlude, Cyrus was the star of a black and white Madonna- esque "Justify My Love"-style montage. It was the night's most risqué moment; footage showed quick flashes of Miley in various states of undress and bondage while the brilliantly sexy Alt-J track "Fitzpleasure" provided the musical accompaniment. During this aforementioned acoustic set – a section within which she plans to perform a wide variety of cover tunes – Cyrus sang a slowed-down version of Outkast's "Hey Ya!" as well as an inspired cover of her godmother(!) Dolly Parton's tune "Jolene." It was the point in the evening where she appeared to be the most organically inspired and seemed to be having the most fun. 8. Perhaps the evening's most shocking element of all. . . was the fact that there really wasn't anything jaw-droppingly shocking about the entire night. Cyrus had said in interviews leading up to this tour that she wanted people to go to the show and take her seriously as a vocalist, and it appears that she meant it. Without question, she proved that talent beyond any doubt: unlike many stadium shows, there was no vocal "doubling" (singing along to a track of oneself), and she was only mildly supported by her background vocalists. In fact, Miley's music was front and center for much of the night, and from beginning to end – roughly 100 minutes long – she nailed her vocals throughout the entertaining evening. With barely a twerk to be found, the singer's intended emphasis on her music seems legit; her approach may very well shift some of the attention back on her talents, and away from her infamous tongue.
February 16, 201411 yr Straight.Com: Miley Cyrus twerks into Vancouver with a selfie-friendly spectacle http://www.straight.com/files/styles/article_main/public/Miley%20Thumbs.jpg Miley Cyrus, caught in one of those rare moments where her tongue is lolling out of her head. At Rogers Arena on Friday, February 14 Long gone are the days where you had to be bribed with a Girls Gone Wild hat to flash some skin for a creep with a camera. In 2014, young women hound party photographers and proudly share the results on Instagram and Twitter. No pop star exemplifies this mindset more than Miley Cyrus, whose sexual awakening last year infuriated your Us Weekly–subscribing mother and clogged your social media feed. Barely legal females ditched their boyfriends on Valentine's Day to fill Rogers Arena for the first stop of the former Hannah Montana’s hotly anticipated Bangerz Tour. While many came dressed in looks inspired by Miley, it was hardly a "trying to get a line in the bathroom" crowd— queues for Mike's Hard Lemonade were dwarfed by ones at merch stands that sold inflatable bananas and detritus featuring photos by your favourite pervball, Terry Richardson. Smilers came ready to soak up pop hits while poppin' their asses. There was one question to be answered though: would their headline-hogging hero fall flat on her butt mid-twerk? To the delight of everyone in attendance, Cyrus proved she can’t, and won’t, be stopped. The music started and everyone was on their feet, but where was Miley? Gradually the massive LED backdrop was filled with the face of the 21-year- old pop princess. Then a hatch opened up and a massive tongue snaked out of a set-piece mouth towards the stage. Cyrus deftly slid down it and commanded, "Let me hear y'all make some f***ing noise". A cacophony of shrill shrieks, squeals, and OMGs ensued after a spectacular entrance as she opened with "SMS (Bangerz)". Joining her onstage for the club-friendly, well, banger, were back-up dancers, a Munchkinlad- escapee in a red PVC outfit, a BBW with a butt that belittled the one Sir Mix-A-Lot rapped on, and four sickos in fursuits. (Apologies to the Vancouver furry community. Society has come a long way in recent years, but we're still not ready to accept yiffing.) For the next number, a gold-plated car with spinners rose from a trapdoor. Miley hopped on and humped its hood while singing "4x4" as it drove around on stage and sprayed dolla bills out of the wheel wells. This is how the rest of the evening would go: Lady Gaga’s artful weirdness coupled with vintage-Madonna in-your-face- sexuality. During the highly entertaining hour-and-forty- minute-long spectacle we primarily heard tracks off of Bangerz with a smattering of hits from earlier albums as well as covers of "Hey Ya!" by OutKast and "Jolene" by Dolly Parton. While this was happening we were treated to visuals courtesy of Ren & Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi, a dozen or so bejewelled outfits designed by the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Marc Jacobs, and an inflatable wolf that was at least 10-Mileys high. To answer the burning question that kept you awake at night leading up to this show: you better f***ing believe there was twerking. In fact, the most powerful tool onstage was the singer’s ass. Anytime she aimed that thing at the crowd the roar was deafening. It is a lethal weapon that could topple governments, and not just in the Middle East. Live in fear. While flying around on a hot dog phallus and singing "Someone Else", the massive LED screen opened up and Cyrus exited the stage. Of course, the show was not over. The biggest bangerz had yet to be performed. Billy Ray's daughter returned with the club anthem "We Can't Stop", during which the Munchkin was dressed up as a joint and we all sang along. The crowd participation continued when she played her biggest hit, the emotional power ballad "Wrecking Ball". For a minute it felt like it might end there, but no. There had not been enough nodding of heads and moving of hips like yeah. Flanked by the BBW in a Statue of Liberty costume and the little person in a hilarious Liberty Bell getup, Miley belted out the disgustingly catchy "Party in the U.S.A." while sporting a sparkly Stars & Stripes outfit and hillbilly teeth. This twisted tribute to 'Murica ended the show. Valentine's Day only happens once a year, but taking a provocative selfie at the Bangerz Tour was a once in a lifetime experience. Miley did not disappoint and delivered the most Instagram- worthy concerts of the year. As for the parents in attendance, they left praying their kids don’t come home one day in fursuits.
February 16, 201411 yr Toronto Sun: Miley Cyrus' Bangerz concert in Vancouver a colourful twerk party http://i.imgur.com/emJluma.jpg The strings of balloons, cotton candy and animal costumes should have been some indication this was Miley Cyrus’ party and she can grab her crotch if she wants to. The controversy queen unleashed her highly anticipated and purportedly “educational” Bangerz tour in a packed, but not sold out, Rogers Arena in Vancouver Valentine’s Day night. An estimated 18,000-plus fans let out blood- curdling screams at the first sight of her floating head slowly rising up on the stage’s video screen. Dancers poured onto the stage as a door-sized opening emerged behind Cyrus’ video screen mouth to reveal a slowly thrusting tongue slide. The real-life Cyrus then rode onto the stage, finally mic in hand, to the tune SMS (Bangerz). “Let me hear y’all make some f------g noise!” shouted MyCy to an adoring crowd that literally went bananas at every twerk — of which there were many. Populating the throng were mostly dancing girls ages eight to eighteen. Cyrus’ signature mini pigtail buns were the hair trend of the night and the dress code was terrifyingly tramp for such an underage crowd: lots of 12-year-olds in partly see- through bustiers, leather booty shorts and Pretty Woman cutout one-pieces. Parents were notably getting in on Cyrus’ steez, including one bearded biker dad sporting the T- shirt: “I like the way you twerk.” Hitting the stage with the Nashville native was a band of costumed animal dancers, professional twerkers (the L.A. Bakers) and a little person. For Love Money Party, the singer rose out of the main stage draped over a Mini-Cooper-sized gold toy car. Her outfit for this number was a bedazzled marijuana long-sleeve body suit (thong) accessorized with a gold pot leaf necklace — apparently coincidental, Vancouver. There were a lot of goofy production elements, like the Ren and Stimpy Show-inspired cartoons, the entirety of FU where she is stalked by a giant orange puppet and the flying hot dog she rides to close out the show — but throughout, her undeniable singing talent managed to shine through. Dancers left the stage for power ballads like her big hit Wrecking Ball that had every girl around me singing their hearts out and reaching towards the stage. It’s truly unfortunate the speakers blared horribly and didn’t do her live singing justice. One of the show’s main highlights was the somewhat unplugged section. Appearing in the crowd towards the back, Cyrus and a small collection of her band performed Rooting For My Baby and country-style covers of Outkast’s Hey Ya, and Dolly Parton’s Jolene. Maybe the best part of the night. The worst parts of the night were undoubtedly cringe-worthy crotch massages that took place during her performance of Do My Thang — and the ‘kiss cam.’ The latter prefaced with this: “You guys have been amazing so far, but I’m just going to need a bit more crowd participation … I want to see you guys make out.” The stage’s screen lit up with live-feed of people in the crowd who were supposed to kiss while she sang Adore You. As this crowd was mostly young girls some couples made it on screen to suck face, but many seemed to be just friends (and tweens), who under incredible peer pressure (or for fun?) started making out anyway. Interestingly, throughout the night the singer peppered her songs and commentary with equal parts expletives and “thank y’alls,” and managed to rock out for not one but two encores. Overall an impressive show from a talented performer, but the dancing and production elements could have been a bit more sophisticated (not that any of her adoring fans were complaining). As Cyrus’ Bangerz tour continues she will have ample opportunity to smooth out the kinks as Vancouver was just date No. 1 of 38 for North America before she heads over to Europe. Set list: SMS (Bangerz) 4X4 Love, Money, Party My Darlin’ Maybe You’re Right FU Do My Thang Get It Right (#Getitright) Can’t Be Tamed Adore You Drive Acoustic Set featuring Rooting For My Baby, Outkast’s Hey Ya! cover, Dolly Parton’s Jolene cover 23 L. A. Bakers Twerk It Dance On My Own Someone Else (Encore) We Can’t Stop Wrecking Ball (Encore #2) Party in the USA
