Ridiculous that this has been held back so long when there is clearly lots of public demand for it, 23 in pre-orders alone and it's not out for another week! It should have been released when it was announced, it's lost out on a lot of sales but the labels will never listen!

Yeah but it would surprise me if he held up enough throughout the week to actually secure the #1. Then again I may be completely underestimating him as he did have a performance on The Voice and will probably have decent promo throughout the week. It's great to see his label not messing about with the album and striking while the iron's hot.

Yeah totally agree theres no real reason why its not out this week?? Maybe he cant promo it until next week but hes on Graham Norton this friday so its strange. I can hope more big albums do a Beyonce/Frank Ocean/Jay-Z/Kanye West & release straight away to stop illegal downloads!

 

Lets hope the weeks of preorders will at least provide brillant first week sales!!

What's everyone thinking then? Aloe Blacc or Paloma Faith for #1?

I doubt Paloma Faith will even be particularly close to #1. Aloe Blacc should get #1 quite easily I'd say. Paloma should re-enter the top 5 though and John Legend may repeak again.

I predict a riot Aloe #1, Kaiser Chiefs #2, Paloma #3 but sales will be pretty low so promotional boosts to anything could disrupt this easily.

Aloe Blacc's Good Things peaked at #8 with sales of 14,482 (its chart run at this point was 192-138-93-65-50-26-14-8). I'm sure his new album will pass 20k at least which will be enough for the #1 spot.
