I have to say, it really is great to see their singles are nearly always in the top 1500, I know it won't be many sales, but it's good to know that none of their singles have stopped dead, with maybe the exception of Cannonball, but that does creep in every now and then and I'm personally delighted Wings has overtaken it officially and hopefully other songs will catch up eventually.

No I don't mind! :D Thank you for doing it! You might miss vital positions that I might not get there in time for, for example. So I love seeing this! :D

GUTTING. :( I really thought it'd hold up much better than it had done, up until the Friday that Sport Relief aired I thought it'd hang around for about 5 weeks top 40 at the least. But then I realised they didn't really care too much about this campaign, so why should we? I love their version of the song though.

 

PS. Thanks Electro. I appreciate it a lot and I know I've been slacking, but I'm hoping to get this updated a bit more frequently soon.

Hopefully Salute will return soon and the promotion around the campaign boost their previous singles and albums. Kinda scared at how Salute will do, it must have quite a solid starting point with sales so far, but would love to see it go top 10 like it deserves and to become their best selling post album single.

I think it definitely has the potential to if they give it a good push. I see no reason why Radio 1 would abandon them, but I'd like to see the video out pretty soon. They've been leaving the videos too late, with both Move and Word Up, so they didn't get a decent enough time to maximise airplay.

 

Salute does sound like more of a hit to my ears, than Little Me though. I am slightly worried too though, but that may be because of how much I love the track and really want it to succeed.

Why the boost for 'Salute'? :o Price reduction?

People were say it's been reduced for awhile so it's a bit strange, maybe it's only really appearing in the 'albums under £4.99' or whatever it's called section on iTunes and the promo of it being reduced has given it a bit rise. It was literally about to fall out of the official top 100 album chart so it couldn't have been better timing. It'll potentially take some sales away from Salute, but the main goal is to sell the album so it's all good. Fingers crossed with the price cut and Salute promo starting soon it can keep rising.

Hopefully 'Salute' (song) can be reduced to 59p in time for it's airplay and video play to kick in!
