Currently #28 on US iTunes! :D

Songs take longer to progress in the states, so after the promo is all done with, they should stabilise around top 40-ish before climbing higher due to increasing airplay etc..

It's a massive shame that they're leaving the United States after this week.

I fully believe if they stuck around the US and done a minor radio tour as well as promoting on TV shows 'Black Magic' could have been a top 20 Billboard hit, I'm sure it will still manage to go top 30 as POP seem to be picking this up very quickly.

It is a shame but I am sure they will go back in another month or so, if not then we have to admire the extent of their campaign has been, they really are killing it. Let's compare to my girls The Saturdays, they had a reality TV show and a big single but their campaign was kinda lazy.

Just for the record when we look back, the first preview of Love Me Like You was released, iTunes:

UK

30. Black Magic

147. Black Magic

176. Salute

225. Hair

721. Black Magic

864. Love Me Like You

342. Get Weird (deluxe)

540. DNA (deluxe)

966. Salute

1157. Salute (deluxe)

I feel like I'm being a Debbie Downer, but I feel like their team has been ridiculous with this second single and are releasing it way to early and handling it all wrong. I'm interested to see how it plays out, I don't understand the mountain they've put in front of it, hopefully the song is strong enough to still do well despite the mountain that's been put in the way. They really should have let Black Magic run it's course a bit longer.

That's what I was worried about a few weeks ago but guess we won't properly know until it's released!

I'm glad I'm not the only one to feel that way. BM is still #2 on airplay which is great, they've never had a song radio have loved for so long.

So today is the release of Love Me Like You. For when we come back, this was put on for pre-order, but no one heard it in full until today, the day of release.

'Love Me Like You' is holding really nicely atm! Looking forward to seeing what future (hopefully) B-List & A-List rotation on Radio 1 will do for the song.

For future reference, LMLY EP was released yesterday. Weird People was also released... I believe it won't be able to chart though as Hair already has?

11 Little Mix Love Me Like You - Would have been quite a bit higher had iTunes not crashed at the point they would have had the biggest boost.

1331 Little Mix Love Me Like You (Christmas Mix) - Get that Christmas classic.

That's frustrating about the iTunes crash - it's denying them the top 10 effect. Will the purchases made during that time still count towards the chart?

BM is at #31 now too. Hopefully it's due a nice climb come Friday,

Usually I'd say yes, but judging by them at #20 and Ben at #11 when they're performance had a much bigger reaction, I've a feeling that iTunes might e having issues grabbing the sales from the period it were down.
