January 3, 201411 yr Good to see Play Hard right at the bottom (should have been rock bottom mind). Terrible song & butchered a 90's classic.

I started off thinking this was very dull, but the I grew to love it, it's my second favourite Ellie release now after "Anything Could Happen".

Now forgetting the platant plagarism of the Who and the quite offensive gay stereotype in the video, the song isn't that bad, it's an upbeat pop-rock track that hits the right marks, however this may me just because it was all over Youtube at the time, and it just earwormed it's way into my head.
January 3, 201411 yr I don't understand why the voters in this game seem to dislike 'How Long Will I Love You' so much :(

Dizzee however still has THREE more entries to come, how did I miss him racking up the top ten hits this year? Anywhoo, back to the song. Although it wasn't what I was expecting from Jessie, the song did grow on me, and gets a place on my iPod, and the occasional listen. All subsequent releases have disappointed, of course, but all my friends seem to like "Thunder", but I forget how it goes as soon as it finishes.
January 3, 201411 yr I think 1D's horrific cover of Blondie's 'One Way or Another' should have been last as 'Story of My Life' is actually quite good! Easily their best single for me (not that it's a hard thing to do). I'm a very big fan of 'Don't Stop the Party' and 'Feel This Moment'. They are such party tunes! I can understand why many hate them but I just adore them.

Also, that title's a bit co-dependent isn't it?

Talk Dirty also comes 28th out of 31 in terms of OCC #1s, and understandably none of the 21 different Reshuffle #1s have appeared yet either. I like this song, mainly for the Hermetico percussion section, and until today I had never heard the explicit version. It's filthy  TD finishes higher than YNTSLY as it recieved five "+5s" compared to Arthur's one. Edited January 3, 201411 yr by Leonardo

I don't knwo why this was so hated, I think it's perfectly lovely, OK it's no classic, but it's not dire either.

Blurred Lines started off well in the chart and at the midpoint of the year it was looking at a place in the top 10 of year on this chart too, however the song began to majorly run out of steam and the "-5"s started to pour in. The song still has its fans though and only eight songs managed more "+5"s. The song has not performed as well as other biggest sellers (at least the other two while i've been running the chart). Someone Like You came 2nd and Somebody That I Used To Know came 5th, so 120th is a bit of a drop to say the least. I think the songs quite catchy and I try not to listen to the lyrics and/or watch the video which have a very misogynist theme. This means that "Get Lucky" and "Wake Me Up" remain from the 2013 million sellers.
