I Love It is the weak link of the Top 3, I don't know how anyone with functioning ears could possibly enjoy listening to it.

 

Get Lucky and Mirrors are of course f***ing incredible.

PHEW. After La La La, Wake Me Up and Roar went out I was sure we'd have I Love It winning. Get Lucky is a much better winner, excellent to see it prevail.

Oh hooray ~ I know BuzzJack loved 'Mirrors' a lot at the time but I really didn't even consider it as a contender for this, shocked it came so close! Incredible top 2 in the end, 2 of my top 3 (with the other also in the top 10) :D

Yay for Get Lucky! I was worried because I saw it get quite a few -10's, but I guess the love massively outweighed the hate! Definitely a modern classic in the making and a song I'll always associate with 2013 as a whole :wub:

 

Mirrors is a worthy runner up indeed, I Love It is good, but 3rd is definitely as high as it could go. Excellent results on the whole that are very reflective of the year in general.

Mirrors not being no1 is a bit pathetic, it's a properly written song unlike that no1. Quality never wins.

"Mirrors" may be a better written song, but it's far more poorly sung.

In what way is Get Lucky not 'properly written'? It's not exactly something like Doop is it?
