Eminem narrowly misses out on the top 15. I'm not too surprised as I see a fair amount of hate (although it appeared to be mostly praise on here when it premiered) but then it does feature Rihanna who has won this thing three times! Rudimental hit the 3000 point barrier bang on, not as great a result as "Feel The Love" achieved last year (6th) but top half isn't awful, especially when what's above is largely very good. First time The Saturdays have managed to feature and their fans can only take them as high as 14th with one of their very best, they had a good go at it looking at those maximum scores though. Finally we have the unexpected smash from OneRepublic which climbed the charts to spend two non-consecutive weeks at #1 (and denied The Vamps in doing so <_<). All great songs imo.

Shocked to see The Saturdays missing the top 10 here :o Thought they'd be easily top 5. Beaten by OneRepublic of all people.

12th ~ Duke Dumont feat. A*M*E - Need U (100%) ~ 3470 points

Highest score: 150 (x2)

-10s: Zero

11th ~ John Newman - Love Me Again ~ 3480 points

Highest score: 150 (x1)

-10s: One

British DJ/producer Duke Dumont just misses out on 11th place. He's finally releasing a follow-up to "Need U" very soon. I never 'got' this track and shame things never took off for A*M*E. John Newman is the last person to fall just before the top 10. "Love Me Again" has been everywhere in the past few months (with recent features on Top Of The Pops and Jools Holland) so it's easy to see why people may be bored of it but not me. His follow-up singles have had nowhere near as much success and well, they just ain't as good.

10th ~ Avicii vs. Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One ~ 3600 points

9th ~ Ellie Goulding - Burn ~ 3630 points

Highest score: 150 (x1)

If this was based entirely on videos "I Could Be The One" would be finishing on top. Iconic ~

Ellie Goulding's first UK #1 splits some opinion as some consider it to be 'selling-out' (well it did start as a Leona demo) but it's been huge, not only in the UK but providing her with another big hit across the pond. Another two great songs (and at one stage this superior Avicii track was looking like it could push for the top 5).

Two fab songs there, glad they're both top 10! Kinda expected Burn to be lower as it's not her best received track on here. Imagine if ACH got #1 :o
'I Could Be The One' making the top 10 :/ Not a huge surprise but such an overrated song.

Wake Me Up, yes. I Could Be The One ... no. Barely anyone seems to remember it existed because of that ghastly song.

One of the best dance songs of the year ... so euphoric and feel good!

Far better than Wake Me Up, although incredibly formulaic and of it's time.

scream & shout hate out ze door

sorry loulou but it's a terrible song - pure style over substance.

Need U (100%) and Burn  I especially love the latter, really gets too much hate on here :( I can see why people wouldn't like it as it's not exactly typical Ellie, it's far more generic than we've come to expect from her. I love it either way <3

Finally someone else who doesn't like WMU :drama: Overplay completely killed it, can't even bear to listen to it now.

Not a fan of ICBTO either though, the only Avicii song I've heard and liked is the Adam Lambert one (only heard that and the singles). Possibly one of the most overrated musicians atm.

Well 'Wake Me Up' is overrated as well (I really liked it when it came out but got bored within about 3 weeks) but 'I Could Be The One' has always been boring for me. I blame Nicky Romero because 'Like Home' is similarly boring - I can see what it's trying to do but it just falls flat for me. I love the video for 'I Could Be The One' though.

I Could Be The One actually grew on me. I didn''t like it at first because it's pure formula but that changed. I never liked Wake Me Up. I dont hate it either.

8th ~ Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball ~ 3640 points

Highest score: 150 (x3)

-10s: Two

7th ~ Lorde - Royals ~ 3850 points

Highest score: 150 (x4)

-10s: Three

In eighth place is my personal favourite #1 of the year. We all know that video but I feel the emotion in the actual song and the lyrics. It certainly appears more liked in general than "We Can't Stop". The middle eight

I'll keep "Royals" shade minimal for Bray's sake and just say that I really dislike it. It really seems to divide opinion with lots of people at each end of the scale. But I do like most of Lorde's other tracks as they have more tune to them to my ears. And for a teen from New Zealand to achieve what she has (including writing on all tracks on her album) is impressive so fair play to her.

Lorde slays all non top 6 faves *.*

(Actually quite surprised at her being that high here!)

Lorde? Okay then lol.

I forget what is still to come ... Katy Perry will win I guess.
