03 That's pretty much my opinion too. I'm starting to really appreciate 'Losing Sleep' now as you can see, although 'Love Me Again' will probably always remain my favourite. I don't think I ever tired of that, no matter how much it was on TV. 'Cheating' is good but I find the Freemasons mix better.

 

06 It is a beauty! :wub: I have to skip it occasionally on the TV as it's on all the time and I don't want to tire of it. That's what happened with 'Move'. Ooh 'DNA' is very good, so is 'Wings'.

 

07 It will sadden me if this flops. :( Not been listening to radio that much so I'm not sure how much it's being supported, but it's such a touching song and everyone should listen to it. Period.

 

21 I have heard it and it's rather good! Really given the song a new lease of life on iTunes - now would be the perfect time to release the video!

Really getting into 'Paper Heart'! :wub: I'm backing Chloe Howl to win Sound of 2014 however it seems Sam Smith or Ella Eyre are the biggest contenders for it.

 

Haha! :lol: I actually don't think my mum is particularly a fan of any those artists, but she too has an odd music taste - she's recently bought albums by John Newman, Marilyn Manson and My Chemical Romance! :P She's a big Robbie/Take That fan so that's a bit more mum-sy.

12 I agree it's better than the original - much cleaner and bigger vocals which I feel the song really needs! I used to hate Demi's version, her voice is meant to be raw to add emotion to the track but I just thought it made it hard to appreciate the song. 35 I like 'Incredible' but I don't usually listen to it through choice, although there's several that I do. :wub: You were meant to check out her back catalogue weeks back! :lol: It's definitely worth it - the 90s are full of big ballads and the 00s stuff is more pop.

01 It is a single although I think she's moving onto third single 'Incredible' now, perhaps that's the one you have in mind?

 

02 'Paper Heart' is really good! She's been compared to Kate Nash and Lily Allen so if you like either of them it's worth a listen! Gutted she didn't even come Top 5 on the Sound of 2014 list. :(

 

03 Really taken to me recently! I agree, it's better than 'Cheating' although I don't think he'll be able to top 'Love Me Again'. I do wish 'Losing Sleep' would have made the Top 40 - seem like it's rather unlikely now though. :(

 

04 I've heard and liked 'Don't Stop' and 'Stay Out', and yes 'Selfies' does sound similar to them, although just a little more sadder which is perhaps a surprise considering the subject title.

 

06 This is really good; great harmonies and vocals! :wub: I think it could still make the Top 10 although I'd be happy with its current position if it has decent longevity. Strange decision to drop it from the Radio 1 playlist already though!

 

14 Her new direction of music seems to be very specific to fans of quite dark urban rather than pop/R&B stuff, and mostly it doesn't really appeal to me but an exception is made with 'Drunk in Love' as I find this really catchy! 'XO' is good although a little bit on the bland side and elsewhere on the album, I think 'Pretty Hurts' would make a good single.
