After a tight battle with Ashton and a couple of others, Altyr waltz away with our very last award of the night (and with that namesake, what a case of saving the best til last!!)

From this award onwards, all are determined either by the staff of BJSC or statistics. Singerpurear may I say rightfully deserve this award for being the "Most Unlucky Nation" with their Did-Not-Qualify streak currently on going. Such determination to send inspired entries along with songs which he adores despite ignoring the consequences of having to face every month by not qualifying set an important role model for all members participating within the Buzzjack Song Contest (myself included) and I think we should all take note on this. Well done once again popchartfreak!

Wow, that award came out of nowhere, I did not expect to actually win it. I'll try to stay inspired in 2014. :D

As well as Fljotavik do, I can't say they'd be my first thought for 'outstanding contribution', more because of how long they've been in it for :lol:

 

I suppose it depends what you're looking for though - and of the countries who don't send pop/dance and therefore always appeal to me, they're one of the most consistent.

Just catching up and I didn't even realise I'd even been put up for this, let alone being deemed the victor.

 

I have to agree with you, a country like FSR Rontvia / Ashton / Elëdan etc are surely more worthy!

 

(Not that I wish to be ungrateful mind!)
