Continue discussion of the show here, and the recent FABULOUS episodes! ^_^

Would have posted this in the other thread:

Really hope that wasn't just a one-off stint from Jane, although I expect she'll probably be back if Peter gets in contact again (or if Ian wants her back to help him through it all).

I don't think that's the last we'll see of Jane either, I mean the relationship between Denise and Ian is obviously about to fall to pieces considering recent spoilers about Denise and the fact Ian still loves Jane.
Plus I read there was going to be a big Ian storyline this year, I'm thinking this is the start of it, somehow Jane will be back pretty soon.
Hopefully Jane will be back, she was brilliant today!

Laurie Brett has confirmed her future in Waterloo Road: she will be staying on for series 10, and starts filming soon!

So... A one-off return for Jane, or can we expect another very brief stint soon?

I really cannot at Kirsty leaving. :( One of their best characters. At least she got a fantastic exit though, getting the last laugh with that idiot Max!
Just caught up on iPlayer, I must agree that was a great exit for Kirsty, excellently scripted! :D

Kirsty was obviously chatting shit when she said that she was imagining someone with more hair and muscles and a bigger willy when she was with Max. She worshiped the ground that Max walked on, if Max said jump she would have said how high.

Kirsty was obessessed with Max.

So? The point was to embarrass him in front of everyone and make a dramatic exit, which she achieved!

Yeah, she wanted to embarrass and belittle him like he has constantly done. Plus it was Shirley's idea as Kirsty would have otherwise drunk her problems away, which she had been doing beforehand.

Max needs to get tested... Infact all the Brannings Do!

He will be giving Ian Beale a run for this money with wife number 4 (probably Stacey when she returns.)

Stacey's returning with a new fella (played by Matt Willis)

I know :yahoo: but do you honestly think Eastenders will keep him in for long?

I guess she'll probably have another affair with Max, her new guy will leave and then she'll marry Max!

Matt Willis? :drama: He's already pissing me off in 'Birds of a Feather' and we're only two episodes in. Hopefully he doesn't stay in this for long.
I think Matt Willis is a good actor. He shocked me anyway in Birds of a Feather. The one who plays his wife has the worst Aussie accent though. Cringe.
I thought Kirsty's exit was lame and quite unbelievable. She spent literally her entire time in the show obsessing over Max (no exaggeration either!) and we're to believe that all of a sudden she's some sort of fierce girl-power bitch who doesn't give a shit? Unrealistic, but at least she's gone.

As has been already pointed out, it has Shirley's idea for revenge and a 'sassy' exit to embarrass him. If Shirley had not intervened, Kirsty would have been drinking and obsessing over Max still.
