Oh, I'm not sure what to make of it on first listen.

This is definitely not "The Fear". And it is not "Smile" either. :(

The pre-chorus is very nice. The middle eight is atrocious. The "na na na na" bits are more annoying than death. Not sure for the rest.

I don't wanna be too hard on the song yet because I love Lily's previous efforts, but I am majorly disappointed right now. I hope it grows on me and I will get its amazingness soon.

Very blah.

(This is really nothing like M.I.A. apart from a few places where you can hear similarity in vocals, and only vocal STYLE for that matter (na-na-nanana stuff, for example))

I quite like it, but I'm surprised how pop she decided to go with this. Also, I agree with all the M.I.A comparisons!

It sounds as though it was this that Lily was talking about when she said that record labels only go for the safe, poppy tracks and don't allow artists to take risks anymore.

Very average to me on first listen.

Not as instant as Hard Out Here but I like it on first listen, I'm sure it'll grow on me!
It's M.I.A. covering 'Roar'. I actually really like it and can see it being pretty big. Hope it doesn't wear on me as quickly as 'Hard Out Here' did.

It is funny because when she announced her comeback, I was afraid that her sound would change too much and would turn into something boring or too deep after her motherhood and all.

But she has gone the opposite way. In a way, this track reminds me of "Alfie" off the first album, which I loved.

After a few listens, the chorus, the "na na na"'s and the middle eight still grates on me, so it's going to be hard for me to love it. :(

I really love it! Sounds like a big grower too, not as good or as instant as Hard Out Here but I still love it all the same.
I love it on first listen! Horrifically catchy, and whilst it's quite poppy it still has a bit of Lily about it. I don't see the MIA similarities though, except for vocally on the 'na na na na na' bit of course.
Not good. :( I was looking forward to Lily coming back but so far it's been underwhelming. Hard Out Here got pretty dull for me quickly and this sounds like a Cher Lloyd demo.

I love it. Was a bit unsure at first but I was enjoying it a lot by the end, still in my head afterwards also. Nowhere near as good as Hard Out Here but it's fab regardless.
This sounds like something that'll flop, kill a campaign and have Lily saying "the record label made me record it" within six months.
This sounds more like Gwen Stefani than MIA. Which is NOT a good thing.
Pretty underwhelmed on first listen, agree with the MIA comparisons, which is not a good thing for me as I'm not really a fan of hers. Hope there's better on the album!
