colour me fully excited. im hoping for a total sellout given the producers she's worked with.

given its premiering on radio 2 my hopes of a sell out are low.

 

i can see her doing very well this era. i feel like she was I. The past a little ahead of her time and now the time is of her. here's hoping anyway.

Wasn't her last album pretty much mega huge?

I wouldn't say "mega huge" :lol: but it was indeed pretty big (I think it did better than her debut at least).

 

I'm here for this! 'Picking Up the Pieces' remains absolutely GLORIOUS! And if the video is half as good as that (ie one of my favourite music videos of the last few years!) then colour me impressed!

Oh dear. It's not BAD, in fact it sounds like a grower, the middle 8 in particular is *.* but I'd much rather she'd have given us Picking Up The Pieces 2.0.

I wasn't expecting a 'Blurred Lines (Part 2 - Broken Down, sorta)'! I think it'll be a grower. I don't know if I like it or not, I think it doesn't help that I'm just a casual fan atm and slowly coming round to her in general. Pharrell pretty much is just on auto pilot with this.

I'm not sold to it on first listen, as it sounds very repititive. Yet it is a pretty nice song.

I love Pharrell so I don't mind the "Blurred lines" influence, although it might be a bit too obvious there.

The whole 'come on with it' bits feel very jarring for me and it doesn't really feel as if the song goes anywhere. I like how she's experimenting with her sound but it's a bit too Blurred Lines heavy.

Not sure if I like it or not, I dont think this kind of music really suits her in all honesty.

It's a very 'meh' track tbh but I kinda like it. Not sure if it will be a hit though.
