April 3, 20223 yr Author The edit is just awful but not a terrible season. Great villains in Mark and Sam. There are a handful of jurors I do like and of course we had Sandra and Nina. I feel like I would like Josh, KJ and Shay more if they were edited better and appeared more earlier in the season. I think my preference is: Josh > Chrissy > Shay > Mark I called Chrissy being at the end early on. Great social player. Thank god this is done tho. Bring on Masterchef (and Big Brother)
April 5, 20223 yr Author Australian Survivor: well that's done. I'm happy it happened, but I'm also very happy it's over. Not one of the best seasons, but I didn't mind it. Sloppy editing but there was a lot here to enjoy as well. I'm floored Mark won, especially with a unanimous vote. I guess the final episodes this entire time were edited to make it look like everyone had a chance. If they were all going to vote for Mark... why didn't they just take him out Final 4? It didn't seem like Final Tribal really cemented the win for anyone.. Mark seemed like a predetermined winner. Slight rankings for the Jury Members: 13: Jordan 12/11: Mel/Michelle 10: Dave 09: Shay 08: KJ 07: Khanh 06: Jesse 05: Mark 04: Chrissy 03: Josh 02: Jordie 01: Sam - Star of the season and complete villain for me. I loved all the anxiety that went with her game, and stealing the Idol was pure evil, but fantastic to watch.
April 5, 20223 yr That final episode made me like Mark slightly more but I feel bad for the 2 women getting 0 votes (that final 3 tradition needs to stop). Poor Shay fumbled a bit with her jury speech (her confessionals were more convincing), but at the same time didn't really have any foot to stand on when it comes to strategy, especially with Mark playing both her and KJ at final 5. She's probably the one person I respect the most from all of this for how resilient and tough she was, but then we had Hayley previous season who did what she did with an insane strategic game to back it up. Sam was fun too. The rest of this post merge has been one of my least favorite ever.
April 6, 20223 yr Author I agree, Kath. A much stronger pre-merge season. Some good highlights this season but I’m glad it’s done. I’m surprised another season hasn’t already commenced filming. I know they wanted 2 seasons a year pre-COVID so I’m expecting, hopefully, another season will air this fall.
April 7, 20223 yr BIG BROTHER GOT LAYLA BACK !IADHKSKHDSK Also Tully and Drew, juicy *.* Plus Tim and Reggie as we knew, Estelle, Trevor, and Farmer Dave from 2006
April 7, 20223 yr Author Exciting, but I wish they would have swapped Trevor for Bree or Ryan from BBAU4. Also not excited for David’s return either.

April 22, 20223 yr @1514530901618663432  Also: Vesna was asked, shortlisted and cut. I completely forgot about Vesna, she was my favourite from the 2005 series.
April 24, 20223 yr Author Masterchef Australia:    I firmly place the 'Back To Win' Season in my Top 5 RTV Seasons of all times, so happy to have this back! I just finished watching the first week... Melissa introducing the Favourites: Who’s a fan of Sashi *everyone puts up their hands* Me: doesn’t put up hand  I honestly expect Sashi will be the ShOcKiNg Elimination that was teased. I'm guessing Julie at least gets to the Top 8 and my guess right now is that Tommy and Billie will be the Final 2. What a mammoth week Julie had tho. Editing was a bit off as they really heavily focused on Julie this week. I'll be honest Julie isn't one of my favourites but the NOSTALGIA. Julie firmly takes the seat of the Contestant that you associate with Masterchef Australia (think Boston Rob for Survivor, Janelle/Will/Dan for BBUS). But yeah, wow. Hugely emotional episodes. I'm so happy she took out that first weeks Immunity tho. What a story for the first week. But, like I said.. I'm expecting Julie to achieve Top 8... maybe Top 6 at best? The nation will be absolutely devastated when she is eliminated  Multi-task or Perish. Speaking of Tommy as well.. I forgot how much I absolutely adore him and his food relationship with Melissa. I think Tommy has what it takes to get to the finals this year. I'd love to see it happen. As for the Fans, Harry really stood out to me. I would 100% order that first Burnt Cabbage dish if I saw it on a restaurant. Harry seems to know what they're doing, I'd expect them to make it somewhere near the top maybe?! Off to watch Sunday's elimination this afternoon, and who the hells knows I'll probably take an edible and re-watch Episode 1 of 'Back To Win'.
May 9, 20223 yr Author Big Brother Australia: It's finally here!! I was a bit emotional seeing the returning players again! Tim, Reggie, Estelle, David. Such legends. I can't believe I was 16 when Reggie won. Great start and a great look back. Honestly I thought the returning players wouldn't have a chance, being so outnumbered... but.... these newbies seem pretty... thick. I mean, Joel nominating three women the first nominations wasn't a good look. It's pretty apparent the guys are working together and that will end pretty quick. I don't see Josh lasting very long, but I do love a villainous queen. Tim absolutely has the social capabilities to keep this batch of returning housemates safe. The editing on this is so shit tho. They obviously weren't going to get caught in that task and I think they're overplaying the Tully/Drew thing. Also. Where is Tully.
May 11, 20223 yr Author Big Brother Australia: Sam is the Australian version of Saskia and I am LIVING. She’s absolutely stunning. But…. Drew? Really? Hopefully Tim can navigate through this ‘Weekly Nomination Twist’ but it is nice to see House Nominations return! Let’s hope they evict Princess Jasmine. Love having this on 4x a week as well.
May 14, 20223 yr Author Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022: Cast (per daily mail): The 2022 contestants include motivational speaker Turia Pitt, KIIS FM drive hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw, and Olympic gold medallist Bronte Campbell. They will appear alongside Neighbours alum Jodi Gordon, retired rugby league footballer Benji Marshall, Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux, and actor Vince Colosimo. Comedian Jean Kittson, TV presenter Darren McMullen, model Jarrod Scott, entertainer and political staffer Carla from Bankstown, The Block's Ronnie Caceres and ex-NRL star Eloni Vunakece will also star on the show. This starts Sunday May 22nd.

June 8, 20223 yr Author Well, both Masterchef Australia and Big Brother Australia have hit their halfway points. A few thoughts on both series. Masterchef Australia: This isn't hitting as good as the 'Back to Win' series, but dare I say we are headed to a stronger Final 10 compared to last year. Unfortunately the 'Fans vs Favourites' aspect didn't really work in this situation as it's been a complete newbie purge. It honestly would take a strong newbie to even finish in the top with a lot of these Returnees and I don't think anyone really has the potential to pull this out. I was hoping for a Returnee challenge this year as well, I had my heart set out on a Minoli return, she could have been the Kaysar of Masterchef with 4 eliminations in just over a year  Alvin to me brings about as much nostalgia for the series as Julie does. I really championed Alvin in Season 2 and out of everyone that returned I was the most excited to see him back. I'm ecstatic that he has made the Top 12. I don't think he has a shot to take this out, but he would be a very refreshing winner. Many that do this show are looking to jump start their career. I would just see Alvin taking the money and buying more glasses  Aldo as well is one of my favourites this year, he seems so confident with his cooking this go around, it's been great to see his simplicity really taking shape. Billie I fully expect to be at least in the Final 5, I tipped her for Final 2 - but she's struggled as of recent. My other Top 2 pick was Tommy, he's also been hit and miss - he seems to really struggle with dishes he can't fit a Vietnamese flavour profile into, I'm a bit surprised he doesn't have more in his back pocket to lean on. Michael was heavily ignored at the beginning of this season but now he's shining brighter than ever. Out of the Fans, now that Harry is gone (:cheer:) I am really championing Daniel. He seems like a sponge, you can tell he's been studying and he's not afraid to take a risk. His problem has been seasoning. However, no more pie's dude that was just awful. He hasn't quite found his niche or cuisine yet but I think if he does, he could be the last remaining Fan. Big Brother Australia: Another Fans vs Favourites! So this is Big Brother's 3rd network, landing on Channel 7 at the moment. This is the 3rd season on Channel 7 and the show has been completely revamped. It's more competitive and likely the closest to 'Survivor in a House' that we will ever get. Season 1 on Channel 7 was a snore. Season 2 on Channel 7 was a complete success! This likely falls right in the middle between their Season 1 and Season 2. Unfortunately what isn't working is the heavily bloated show with the Daily Tasks. They've completely run out of ideas and just have the housemates running from one area of the house to another. They really need to ditch these daily tasks, focus more on the editing and show us the moves!! Show us the alliances!! Show us the VOTING!! This really had the opportunity to go sideways early in the series, the Newbies obviously outnumbered the Vets by a large number. The saving grace this season has been Tim. This is a Tim Centric season. If you hate Tim. Don't bother watching. I love Tim and it's been great to see him shape yet ANOTHER season of Big Brother. The list of Returnees for me was pretty mixed. Having Tim, Tully AND Drew really put this out of balance due to their close relationships. They really heavily focused on the Drew/Tully angle but there really wasn't much there (okay... there have been tears and drama but this was really built up to be something salty, and it isn't). Reggie being a messy queen is everything, they've however really dialled down her edit. I wasn't upset to see Layla and Trevor go early, I have the sneaking suspicion they asked to be voted out, this game clearly wasn't for them. Dave for me is hitting a bit different this year as well. I did not really like Dave in Season 6 - but he's thick and juicy now which I love. He however is very easily manipulated, having to apologize to Tim for something Tim did  Out of the Newbies - Meh. Lara would have been great on any season but this one. Lulu was a complete uncommitted flip flop queen. SAM I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN SHE GOT EVICTED. She was AWFUL. I'm not sure how I'm made to feel about the others, Gabbie is sitting on the fence pretty hard but has had no other developments as a player. Aleisha has taken Joel's spot as the #1 Threat on the Newbies side, but she's not being edited very well either. Jaycee is a complete waste of space. Out of all the Newbies, I'm championing Taras AKA John Lennon Junior, he's about 3 workouts and some protein from being the most ripped MF in there. He just needs to get rid of that stupid hair, bulk up a bit and he will be *.* But that's been it! 2 Vets gone against 7 on the Newbie side. I'm really just rooting for a Tim or Reggie win at this point. Honestly, this show should keep the same format but move back to Channel 10 and be edited by the same team that does Australian Survivor - it would be a SMASH.
June 24, 20223 yr Author MKR is returning later this year with Manu and Nigella Lawson. They’re committing to going back to basics, less drama and “no mean characters”
June 25, 20223 yr Author 2/3 of the final Masterchef Men being LGBTQ+ is amazing. Rooting for Aldo and Alvin
