What happened to the Avicii-produced 'Wash All Over Me'? :( I think I'll end up liking this final version but I was really enjoying the demo.

The rest of the non-instant grats are sounding decent so far, 'Holy Water' aside as its lyrics are a bit ew.

First time listening to this in full.

Stand outs are Ghosttown, Joan of Art, Iconic and of course Living For Love. Already better than MDNA for me, maybe better than Hard Candy?

I hate Bitch I'm Madonna and Unapologic Bitch, even though the latter is kind of catchy, it's still a bit cringy lyric-wise.

How is this not higher on the album chart, it's only 14 ?
Because pre-orders are no longer accumilating and added to the iTunes position on mondays. It's basically the 14th best selling album on iTunes right now, but without the addded pre-orders that'd boost it to #1
I can't take any review seriously that doesn't completely burn the atrocity that is 'Bitch I'm Madonna' to the ground...
It's an excellent album, bursting with flavour and creativity yet still sounding like a coherent body of work. Out of all those songs the only two that are unnecessary are 'Body Shop' and 'S.E.X'. It has a lot of heart and emotion. There's a lot of great songwriting and ambitious production here. Easily her best since American Life.
I like body shop but sex can do one.

I wouldn't say american life but for me since confessions on a dance floor.

American Life is horribly underrated whilst Confessions On a Dance Floor is a tad overrated; it's a good album but not as creative, as sonically impressive and as ambitiously composed as either the aforementioned record or Rebel Heart.

1. Slay of Light

2. Erotica

3. Bedtime Stories

4. American Life

5. Music

6. Rebel Heart

7. Like a Prayer

8. Confessions on a Dance Floor

9. Madonna

10. Hard Candy

11. MDNA

12. True Blue

13. Like a Virgin

Body Shop, Best Night and S.E.X. are my favourites from a first listen.

I'd slot Rebel Heart in about 10th in my ranking of her albums, when it's good it's REALLY good, but some of the lows are absolutely unforgivable, especially when stuff like Addicted gets relegated to super deluxe over career lows like Bitch I'm Madonna, Illuminati, S.E.X. and Autotune Baby.

Interesting to hear her opinion on Ageism and Sexism.

Agreed, although I don't agree that Mick Jagger doesn't suffer ageist remarks - for my English Language work at Sixth Form, I focused on ageism and music and I came across an article/review about the Stones' Glastonbury 2013 performance and all it focused on was the way they looked and how they should call it a day etc. But in general I do agree that women, particularly women in pop, get more slack with their age than men.

Interesting that there's possibly a Drake/Madonna collab in working and that she's a fan of Kendrick. I'm not the biggest hip-hop fan but musically I've approved of the rappers Madonna has taken interest in/worked with.

The song that's apparently on Kanye's album, I'm so excited for.

Sorry though Madge, Madonna is NOT the best song on Drake's album.

- i hope this album can go to number 1, it would be her 8th consecutive number 1 in the UK.

Body Shop, Best Night and S.E.X. are my favourites from a first listen.

Those are my least favourites. I like Best Night, though; the production and Justify My Love sample are ace.

It's amazing that the album contains so many songs yet it doesn't feel like an exhausting listen to me at all.

Also, I'm not liking the Bitch I'm Madonna (that drop!) and Illuminati shade. :P The former has ultimately grown on me with repeated listens but I liked the latter from first listen.
