I bought the deluxe CD today.

Wasn't many left on the shelves when I got there.

Preferably that's because people have been in such a rush to get it rather than they just didn't stock many copies!

I ordered mine off Amazon yesterday so hopefully get it on Monday so I can listen to it whilst maybe, perhaps not, revising for May exams!

In HMV? Hopefully this is a sign that the sale is helping. :D

It did manage to reach #1 on the album download chart which is something I guess. #2 on the sales-only chart, #3 on the physical albums chart and #33 on streaming.

It's more annoying that she's been beaten by an almost year old album than anything.

She's up to #3 on iTunes now so hopefully will be top 5 next week.

What's more annoying is that year old album is SAM BLOODY SMITH
Sales wise, I think 37+ is pretty decent. Let's just hope Ghost Town gets more support than LFL did. Radio 2 and Heart need to play it regularly.
It is a shame that this has happened with her best album in a long while. Had it been Hard Candy and/or MDNA I wouldn't have minded. She missed out because of bad timing, though. I think the album could potentially have more consistency than MDNA.
Did not expect Sam to have a 12,000 lead on Madonna, and Ed Sheeran came very close to pushing Madonna down to three. I really do not want the album to fall fast, at this stage i do believe Rebel Heart will outsell MDNA.
Before the first week sales I thought it had a good chance given she actually promoted so much this time. Now I'm thinking it'll just tip over 100k in the end, which is not a TOTAL disaster I guess, but the damage to her brand in the UK seems to be pretty huge at this point. I'm sure with a killer pop song she can overcome it again, but it's going to need to be a Hung Up esque, undeniable pop behemoth to be able to do that and as time goes on I think she has less and less desire to do that.

Possible video for 'Bitch I'm Madonna'...

MADONNA: I don’t know. I don’t want to make every video the same. But I did love the richness of that video (Living For Love). To me it felt like a painting that came to life. That’s what I was trying to do. But I wouldn’t want to do that for every video. Like when I do “Bitch, I’m Madonna,” it’s going to be a whole different aesthetic.

ROUNDTABLE: Well, I’m glad that one’s getting a video! [GROUP LAUGHS]

MADONNA: If Diplo has his way, there will be one.

I may speak for few but this is one of my favourites on the album. I perhaps wouldn't choose it as a single but a video would be welcome.

It'll be a tour video, if anything. If that is a single I hope it utterly flops, that will do even more damage to her image.
