Yeah, that's why I was thinking I wouldn't choose it as a single, despite actually liking. 'Devil Pray' is the best choice of single after 'Ghosttown' - feels like it could appeal to younger audiences whilst still catering for the Radio 2 audience, as well as having a touch of Madonna controversy with the drug references and inevitable misinterpretation.

I would release the following singles after Ghosttown:

Devil Pray

Iconic

Joan of Arc

Addicted could be a single too, however with it being a super deluxe track I doubt it would be, and I can envision great videos for Veni Vidi Vici and Illuminati too.

Midweek #7 with almost 5.5k sold in today's update. For comparison, MDNA wast at #6 with 6.1k sold at this stage.
Autotune Baby is apparently on the Media Markt edition
Streaming is ruining the charts !!

Well that's not annoying at all.

In the UK, the album stands at #7 in the mids again and is currently on course to do 14k come Sunday.

It could potentially end up at #6; Marina will probably fall below it and the gap between #7 and #8 is too grand for it to fall any lower.

Not looking to be a bad second week at all. MDNA dropped 1-7 with a significantly larger percentage drop than Rebel Heart is looking at.

It's fallen on iTunes abit today, currently at 12

Up a place from Wednesday's update to #6 and is on course to 12k, which could mean the #6 position is safe as long as Noel Gallagher doesn't overtake.

Unfortunately, a climb for 'Living for Love' and a Top 100 debut for 'Ghosttown' is looking unlikely - #63 and #90 respectively.

The four songs on the EP shit on half the album.

It really is an album of two halves... duds like "Illuminati", "Hold On" and "Inside Out" should be replaced with "Veni Vidi Vici", "Addicted" and "Rebel Heart".

They don't compliment the overall sound of the album.

Illuminati isn't an easy listen but it's one of the best produced songs on the album and Inside Out has excellent lyrics; I've seen a few users on other forums say it could be a single. Hold Tight has a strong melody. However I agree that Veni Vidi Vici and Rebel Heart should be on the standard edition.

Graffiti Heart is underrated.

Yes it is. Easily in my top 5 RH tracks.

Falls to #7 this week - as I anticipated, Noel overtook her from her midweek position of #6. I'm happy enough with that considering that's the same second week position as MDNA and it was looking like this could perform worse. Pretty please could 'Ghosttown' get good airplay from Radio 2/Heart to stabalise Rebel Heart? :teresa:

Not bad at all!

I do think that Ghosttown is her best shot at getting another hit. There are a number of songs on Rebel Heart that are hit-worthy, but we live in an ageist society where radio won't play them. Ghosttown is however getting decent radio updates in the US so I don't see why it wouldn't over here.

That's pretty good, though I expect the sales will be a fair bit less than what MDNA did at #7.

True - Rebel Heart was on course for 12k as of the Friday mids whilst MDNA did 17.6k at this stage. That means both albums received decreases of ~68% (same goes to Hard Candy).

MDNA received a 59% decrease in Week 3 so Rebel Heart would sell 5k if that pattern continues.

I'll be happy so long as it makes gold/100k in the end. At this stage MDNA was basically on 70k, this is about 50, so it's going to be a tough job I think.
