Ties remain untied because they have the same exact number of scrobbles. For all it's worth a "scrobble" is a "play" but I use the first term here because there might be instances when R1 does not scobble the tracks onto their last.fm profile (for instance the UK Chart Top 10 is not scrobbled because they play videos instead of tracks). On a comparison between the terms, Pharrell's 'Happy' had 29 scrobbles on their Last.fm chart but it had at least one more play during the week during the Top 10 rundown. As I can't be sure if there's any other cases where they don't scrobble the tracks onto Last.fm I think it's just more accurate to call them "scrobbles". :wacko:

January 20, 201411 yr Hate the way alot of blist songs go from blist say 10-15 plays to 0 plays when they are removed!! Route 94 is already in the top 40 - was it even on the playlist last week?
January 20, 201411 yr Music Week used to publish the Top 30 most played songs on Radio One, but stopped a few years ago now. This week's issue does give a few Radio 1 play figures. Happy’s continued advance comes despite a downtown in support from Radio One (24 plays, down from 28) and Radio Two (17 plays, down from 18). It still shares most-played honours (along with James Blunt's Heart To Heart) on the latter station but slips 1-6 on the most-played list at Radio One, where Gorgon City's upcoming smash Ready For Your Love bludgeons its way to the top, with a massive and rarely achieved tally of 31 plays, compared to 18 the week before.
January 20, 201411 yr ^^Ready for your Love doesn't seem like it was last weeks most played & its strange that it's airplay was high with 2 weeks before it's release! Yeah I like the airplay analysis in MW is really good and I remember when they did a list of the most played songs on each radio stations!
