FFS, the Andrea and her ex stuff is dragging on and on and on and on and on. It's the same crap EVERY episode. He turns up, acts irritating, Andrea shouts at him that it's over, Lloyd gets angry, repeat.

Dreadful isn't it? Why do they put so much effort into trying to make the viewer interested in a totally vacant, pointless character such as Lloyd. Don't get me wrong - I think Lloyd is a good character - in his place. That place is as a foil for other characters (he does contribute well with comedic aspects when alongside Eileen and Steve) but he is totally not worthy of a storyline all of his own (the previous race related story with the fireman was proof of that). Meanwhile - really good characters are being left at the wayside.

Why couldn't Andrea falling off the Rover's roof be her exit storyline :(

SHE WAS IN GRAVE DANGER?!?!?

If I was hanging off a roof I would concentrate on not plummeting to my death. I wouldn't have the time to be cracking jokes and having a full blown conversation :manson:

I love how Emmerdale and Hollyoaks had gritty/tense/shock deaths/accidents this week and the best Corrie can come up with is Andrea hanging off a roof  it's a shame becsuse I love Hayley Tammadon but the whole Neil/Andrea thing really is terminal.

Has anyone else noticed the fact that this is the second time there's been a Lloyd storyline involving psycho ex's?!

First with that Cheryl at the time of the tram crash and then again with Andrea...such a tedious character I really don't know what he's still doing there, this has dragged on WAY too long.

I'm really bored with Corrie at the moment, so many characters and stories Im not bothered about! And now Sean's getting a story soon as well, yay! Hope things get better this month with Rob and Tracey's 'wedding' and I've enjoyed the Peter/Jim prison stuff too

It's about time the Producer moved on, surely hes been there the average amount of time in which they usually are. Literally ALL of the new additions he's brought with him are foul, Nazir Family, Les Dennis, Maddie & Andrea are all just foul.

I agree, Stuart Blackburn needs to go!

I'm not going to comment on the Nazirs yet as they haven't had much to do yet. But there's plenty of characters that really need to go like Lloyd, Dev, Luke, Sean etc

I think it's just time to shake everything up and have a mass cull!

I don't get everyone's problem with andrea at all..? she's lovely, and hayley tammadon is a great actress. neil needs to piss off home and leave her and lloyd alone.

Well apparently there's a big storyline planned for January with a couple of characters dying and others being injured. Up to 20 characters involved. Something to do with a fire/explosion reprisal for Rob killing Tina.

Yeah I read that in an interview Blackburn did but sadly it will probably be an anti climax and unless its Sean that dies I won't be happy but I am looking forward to this!

The street needs a big shake up and soon. Coronation Street is where EastEnders was, a very big lull. Like other soaps it will bounce back but it is extremely hard to watch at the moment as the storylines as so bad.

I saw 5 minutes of Carry on Corrie tonight and decided to turn it over it was that painful I really don't care about the community centre story or anything else in the show at the moment!

Think ill wait until the trial week next week as I don't think I'm going to miss anything exciting!!

I used to be addicted to Coronation Street but the storylines are beyond horrific right now and I'm not really interested in any of them in the slightest, the previous producer was by far the best thing to ever happen to Coronation Street.

Yeah it's a chore to watch now but I've felt like this since pretty much near the end of Tina and Peter (that was just such a ridiculous affair that seemed to dominate practically every episode) aside from maybe one or two episodes... I only watch it out of habit if I'm in because there's never anything else on and I like watching TV on an evening, I can't say I usually pay full attention though. Aside from comedy gold from Mary, Julie and Deirdre it's all a bit dull with a lack of good characters. The ones I do like are just "there" (Eva being the biggest example, I know she's in Kylie's SL but still she's just there in that really).

I actually quite like Maddie though! It's just a bit of a boring storyline with her and Tim.

I'm pretty sure we've seen Tim read about a million times? Didn't he get in touch with Faye over the internet?

Coronation Street isn't known for its consistency! I'm sure I've seen him reading/looking at a newspaper before now...

Maybe someone else managed Tim's Facebook account, like his secret PA or an ex-wife/girlfriend...

I know there are people who can't read but this story is just embarrassing, I think if they had made it a story about dyslexia then maybe it would be better, you don't suddenly discover you or someone else can't read

Is this the worst Corrie has ever been? Sure feels like it.

Only since Christmas. :puke2:
