Oh god  Regardless of whether she looks around 19 or not that's ridiculous given Tina O'Brien is 31. Although Simon is right that there's like 7 years between Gail and Audrey's actresses.

Yeah, Helen Worth (Gail) is 64 and Sue Nicholls (Audrey) is 71. I think Gail is meant to be 56 as she I think the character was 16 when she was introduced (Helen being 23 at the time!).

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Audrey? I love how she's always tucked away in the corner at the time of any given crisis. She's easily in my top 5.

I like Audrey too and it's high time she had another love interest. Sue Nicholls used to be a singer and had a hit in the late 60's, title of which escapes me right now.

Not much of a hairdresser though is she? Anyone who goes in comes out looking exactly the same!

And you probably wouldn't guess she was one with her barnet! :P

You know this is one of my pet peeves in any tv program (mainly soaps - any soap). When someone is having their hair done and they're talking to the hairdresser - they're moving their heads all the time - even when the hairdresser has a set of hot tongs/straighteners/dryer. When I'm in the hairdryers - maybe I'm just one of those geniuses - but I can carry on a conversation with my hairdresser without having to move my head and face them. Are scriptwriters so thick that they think people do? And in films or TV - when someone is driving - they find it necessary to take their eyes off the road whilst they have a conversation with the person in the passenger seat! Again - I'm one of those geniuses who manages to have a conversation whilst keeping my eyes on the road!

Forgive me - I'm in a bit of a ranting mood at the moment about nothing in particular!

I'm just the same really! I always pick up on these things and it's odd how so many films/programmes do this!

I couldn't concentrate on tonight's episodes at all. I was too busy staring at Gandy. :(

YES

On Digital Spy they said that Corrie bosses shot down those rumours by saying that as far as they're aware she has no plans to leave completely.
At least they haven't filmed any of it yet I suppose :drama:
In other casting news, Google suggests the real Gavin is nowhere near as hot as Gandy :( At least Gandy seems to be to staying.
