anyone else getting fed up of the Izzy storyline?? Seems as though she's been 'in pain' for ages now and the storyline isn't advancing anywhere as far as I see, I'd rather see more of the Bistro saga than Izzy complaining constantly.

Omg her "acting" when she was high and most of the time when she's in pain :drama: Horrendous.

This show continues to be in the pits rn. I was at uni from end of Jan to the end of March and I only see it if I'm at home, and honestly has NOTHING happened in that period of 2 months?? Apart from Sarah having a baby, I feel like I can just pick up from where i left off. It's an absolute chore to watch. I know Hollyoaks for example gets stick for being unrealistic but I'd rather have some drama and a few too many deaths than boring shit in the pub/bistro for 15 minutes and Izzy trying to cry convincingly for the rest.

Hopefully Kate Oates can pick this up because in my lifetime I've never seen a soap at such a low point.

I feel Hollyoaks at least has a good idea of what its target audience wants to see which puts it one up on Corrie.

Completely agree with you for this, even though I'm a loyal viewer and am still kind of enjoying it.

Theres FAR TOO MUCH dialogue in the pub and when it's not just a close up of Liz and Mary having a conversation about nothing its completely boring stuff. I don't see the point in putting so much pub 'action' in when there are some other storylines that could be very interesting -

- The Izzy drugs saga could take a turn, like her and Gary get caught or maybe she dies or something (anything is better than her just moaning all episode)

- The stories with Callum, Sally, Phelan (this especially, so much potential), Gail and Michael, Carla and Tracy, and so many more could be focused on instead of this drivel we're currently getting.

omg YES.

Tbh she is one of the only reasons I keep watching - such a funny character and even though stag night scene was ultimately pointless it was very funny :D

I love that She's this oddball character but every so often we get a glimpse of a much darker past. I'll never forget that scene where it was implied she was arrested for misusing a chainsaw.

I NEVER thought I'd have sympathy for Michelle but it's ridiculous she's accused of having an affair when she is still working to keep the businesses/family afloat all day and night, just because Steve can't be arsed to come back  She'd hardly have the bloody time to have an affair!

I know Simon Gregson was ill irl and had to be signed off but they could have written it better.

9/20! :P I got the first four right (first episode, Florizel Street, first line, how many episodes originally commissioned) but it went down hill from there.

Was almost fooled by the first live episode question!

Night scenes are currently being filmed, with a picture outside the Platt's house circling - rumour is that Callum's body will be discovered on BGT week.
Hype for this :o Been a while since we had some really good storylines so I hope this restores the excitement :D
Are we meant to feel sorry for Michelle? Eileen asked to ring one client and suddenly she's so overworked its causing her to have a meltdown.
Ah BGT week, the one time a year anything actually happens on Corrie :')
Maria is a very wet blanket character having her back reminded me i didnt even miss her when she was gone. Mary remains one of my favourite characters whom i enjoy and she has even got better in the last few months as she has delivered some excellent one liners. I hope Kate Oates doesnt change Mary too much. It will take time but i firmly believe Kate Oates will do an amazing job on Corrie.
Im ready for Mary to become the female Ross Barton when Kate Oates takes over.

And Norris to become the male Charity

Hopefully they'll dig up Gail's manhole on BGT Week!
