Tbf to the Kevin error, he said "it must have been the worst feeling in the world" in response to Jenny's kid drowning when she turned her back which is different circumstance to how Kevin's kid died. Jenny would have felt guilt and blamed herself, thinking she was responsible, on top of losing a child, which Kevin wouldn't have necessarily felt. It could have been worded better but that's how I excuse it. I can't say the same for the line "it must be hard burying one of your kids", but I couldn't find that line in this clip:

 

 

But the point still stands that the writing team are a mess.

Agreed. To make this realistic they should have her arrested as it's a criminal offence to marry someone for a visa. I thought that in soaps an unwritten rule is that they've to show that crime never pays?

Fiz is becoming harder and harder to watch. While never a great actress she seems to have deteriorated since she came back from maternity leave.
The show is very stale at the moment and has been for a long time. This will all change in the coming months and it will be more enjoyable and easier to watch once Kate Oates gets things back on track.
Wonder what the big storyline for Spring Bank week will be, when the BGT semis are on every night. Corrie moves to 9pm usually so they have a gritty storyline. Wonder if it's my spoiler storyline from above.
They have a "Spring spoilers" article on Digital Spy and still not much new. Stale isn't the word :drama:
