Sally's megaphone scenes last night were just plain embarrassing and stupid. Rubbish.
Oh christ :drama: The only good thing atm is the Michelle and Steve thing and how that will play out, tbh. And even that was the product of a sordid affair, is that all she can come up with?

I'm quite happy to have these affairs over the rubbish Stuart Blackburn was giving us tbh :kink:

Daniel is fast becoming one of my favourite characters right now (for reasons other than being shallow x), I find him quite relatable in the sense that he's a little bit awkward and not that great at being open about things. He's even making Sinead quite likeable

That started off good but I don't like the way Michelle has been acting at all this past week or so. Yeah, she's had a hard time recently and she's been horribly betrayed on top of that, but that doesn't give her the right to be extremely violent and aggressive to anyone and everyone. Her behaviour is disgusting and I cannot root for her whatsoever. And why is Leanne getting the worst of it? I don't condone what she did, but she's not the one who cheated; Steve was the one who had the ties to Michelle so why is he getting off comparitively lightly?

That storyline, as well as this awful attempt at promoting feminism with the builders vs. the women of Corrie, is really making me tune out of Corrie, which is a shame as the show was starting to improve. And people think Eastenders is bad at portraying women! (Well, they are, but Corrie is just as bad right now).

Surprise surprise, Peter's loose willy syndrome strikes again.

Is that Janis from Mile High with him in the picture?

A huge whodunit story is planned for later this year. A very long-standing male elderly cast member, thought then to be Ken Barlow, will be at death's door in hospital, or may actually die. They haven't decided yet and William Roache is rumoured to have said he doesn't mind bowing out now in a big storyline, rather than stay in it until he dies in real life, if that's what they decide. A family member will be responsible with the reveal possibly being done LIVE. So you'd be looking at Tracy, Adam, Daniel or even Simon?

I had heard rumours of a big storyline for this year just before Christmas. What I heard was that

someone who "could be considered a soap legend" would be at the centre of a whodunnit storyline, with producers unsure whether they'd be killing them off or just end up in hospital". Other snippets of info seemed to hint that it would be regarding one of the Barlows, with fans assuming this would be Peter. It could be Ken but I would have thought there would be no question he was a legendary character, not "can be considered" to be one. Tbh, it could apply to either Adam or Daniel too - they may not be "legends" but they are "legacy children".

I think it would be ridiculous to kill Ken off in a murder mystery though.

Well someone posts on DS occasionally who claims to work on Corrie and his reveals suggest that he does as they've been very accurate, stuff that hasn't been in the press. This has come from him/her and did suggest it's Ken and he apparently doesn't mind if they kill him off. Sounds as if he may be tired and has had enough. It's all new producer Kate Oates' idea and she wants to do the reveal live but others don't. Also disagreement over whether to kill him off or not.

I suspect we'll know for sure sooner than later as embargo isn't a word Corrie is familiar with (see Kylie's death, BGT week 2015 etc.).

It looks like they're setting the wheels in motion for giving all of Ken's kids and grandkids a motive for him being potentially killed off.

Tracy - looks like it could be something to do with the will/money

Peter - Ken's meddling with his and Toyah's relationship

Daniel - Obviously he'll find out about Ken's talk with Sinead and will probably blame him for her "miscarriage"

Adam - Ken threw him out, told him to go back to Canada

I'm sure they'll give Amy a motive soon enough

Yes and Simon. :D

Amy's up to no good. Broke the violin which I assume was the second hand one and told Ken it was her other one. Then rang someone to offer them the £200 but what if Ken pays for her a new one online?
