Predictions for Now 78's tracklist?

I'm thinking;

Adele 'Rolling In The Deep'

Alexis Jordan 'Good Girl'*

Alexis Jordan 'Happiness'*

Britney Spears 'Hold It Against Me'

Bruno Mars 'Grenade'

(Bruno Mars 'Marry You' could be a contender - if 'Grenade' is out of the top 40 and this is top 20 by the time the Now albums is released...)

Chipmunk featuring. Chris Brown 'Champion'

Chris Brown 'Yeah 3x'

Clare Maguire 'The Last Dance' ?

Ellie Goulding 'Your Song'

Enrique Iglesias featuring. Ludacris and DJ Frank-E 'Tonight I'm Lovin' You'

Far East Movement featuring. Ryan Tedder 'Rocketeer' ?

Jessie J 'Do It Like A Dude'*

Jessie J featuring. B.o.B 'Price Tag'*

JLS featuring. Tinie Tempah 'Eyes Wide Shut'

Lady GaGa 'Born This Way'

Lupe Fiasco 'The Show Goes On'

Martin Sloveig featuring. Dragonette 'Hello'

McFly featuring. Taio Cruz 'Shine A Light'

Nero 'Me & You'

Nicki Minaj featuring. Drake 'Moment 4 Life' ?

Noah & The Whale 'L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.'

P!nk 'Perfect'

Pitbull featuring. T-Pain 'Hey Baby (Drop It to The Floor)'

Rihanna featuring. Drake 'What's My Name?'

Taio Cruz featuring. Kylie Minogue and/or Travie McCoy 'Higher'

Take That 'Kidz' ?

Tinie Tempah featuring. Kelly Rowland 'Invincible'*

Tinie Tempah featuring. Ellie Goulding 'Wonderman'*

Wiz Khalifa 'Black & Yellow'

Wonderland 'Not A Love Song' ?

Wretch 32 'Traktor'

You Me At Six featuring. Chiddy Bang 'Rescue Me' ?

* = Not sure whether just the one or both will be added.

imagine though. If Tinie Tempah managed to get 3 songs on to a Now album. Would that be the first time?

Those in bold I'm really not sure whether they'll be added or not. I can see them being added, as I think they'll be fairly big/big enough to make a Now album at least. But I get the feeling Wonderland's track could be one of those "pre-releases" or something. But there's still ages away that some of these tracks may feel a bit too "old" to make the cut :drama:

Would love Now 78 to have Nicki Minaj but it hasn't charted here has it? :(

I think they have the ability to have all the UK number ones since Rihanna - Only Girl (In the World). Although they can leave out the X Factor stuff. Ke$ha and Rihanna should easily make it. Plus I have a feeling Alexandra Burke - Start Without You might be on it. Mainly because I've seen it appear on a few other compilation CDs now.

So yes, the Album artwork for 78 is here, and if you want to see it a bit bigger go here. Release date is set for the 4th of April which isn't too far away. I kind of like the cover, looks fresh and interesting. Just getting bored of the Sky background now I'm never satisfied. I'll probably to a predictive track listing soon. What does everyone think?

I seriously doubt there will be both JLS and Jessie J tracks on Now 78. Price tag and eyes wide shut, maybe though.

It's released on my birthday!! Really want Who's that Chick on it, and Born this Way :) Someone here said that 'Dtart Without You' could be on it, I agree. There will be at least two tracks that will surprise us on it. Could be it...
I have a gut feeling they'll include Britney's Till The World Ends instead of Hold It Against Me, I might be very wrong, though.

The text is lovely. I know they often use red these days but the blue outlining makes it look a bit more different compared to others. The rest is meh though. I don't like these throwing objects in the background they do now compared to the 90s/early 00s ones that was often just a "pure" background but still looked different each time.

I think Jessie J will have both songs on it, but I doubt anyone else will - despite there being several acts that could possibly do it (JLS, Rihanna, Adele, Alexis Jordan, Tinie Tempah, Far East Movement). I do hope Jonjo is right and Noah and the Whale make it on (for the sake of some variety) but they haven't exactly peaked that high. Maybe if their album does really well they might put them on though - they have done things like that in the past. Some of the songs from November/December are going to be ridiculously old by the time this album is out - but that's what happens when the gap between the Winter and Spring one is so long.

I will buy it, anyway, just to continue my vast collection, but I doubt I'll enjoy it much. I wish I didn't start buying them so I don't feel obligated to, tbh, but I have almost 60 of the damn things now :nocheer:

Edited by superbossanova

Well Noah seems to be having some longevity inside the Top 40, despite the horrific peak (totally uncalled for, for such a beautiful song!) a bit like 'Hey, Soul Sister' and that was on a now album, wasn't it?

Well maybe. It's just rare for songs that missed the top 20 to make it - unless the album has been successful then they sometimes make an exception.

That said, the chart turnover has gotten slower (again!) compared to the last couple of years, so I wouldn't be that surprised if one or two of these "almost hits" like Clare Maguire, Avril Lavigne, Noah and the Whale, etc. did make it. Either that or there'll be loads of double appearances which I really hope doesn't happen as I HATE them - totally unnecessary 99% of the time!

Can I just point out that "Born this Way" is not on here!!!

Uurgh at the Travie McCoy version of Higher being included! Why not the version with all three? :(

Seems to be missing a few which I guess will be on the next one (Someone Like You, Don't Hold Your Breath, Good Girl) but it's a pretty good tracklisting considering they wouldn't have wanted to overfill it with double appearances.

No Born This Way though :o What's with the random Flo Rida song though?
