Posted January 22, 201411 yr The Wanted have admitted that their upcoming tour will be "their last for a while" but have insisted that they will "continue on as The Wanted". In a statement on the band's website, the group said that they would go separate ways following their 'Word of Mouth Tour'. "This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour's conclusion," the statement read. "The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future. "They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour." I am sure their literally ten's of fans will be sad by this break. I am sure it will be as short as the bands before them.
January 22, 201411 yr This is poorly written... so their going their separate ways but staying together? UMMM... confused. They haven't done anything decent since "Glad You Came", so I'm not overly surprised.

I agree its poorly written but I disagree with your comments relating to they haven't done anything decent since glad you came. I think their new album is really good. Surprised it hasn't done better and really liked their last few singles.
January 22, 201411 yr They haven't done a half decent song in absolutely ageeees (Warzone, although I liked their singles up to then). In fact, they've been on a run of being horrendous.
January 22, 201411 yr I think we can expect a rushed out Greatest Hits in a year or two and that'll be it, I knew it'd happen.
January 22, 201411 yr What a surprise! :o Not. :P It was kinda obvious they would call it a day after Word of Mouth being a massive flop.
January 23, 201411 yr According to Heart radio this morning, Glow in the dark will be their next single released to coincide with their world tour.
January 23, 201411 yr I would definitely agree with that if it wasn't for 'We Own The Night'. I don't know what happened to them though, they truly lost it from the abominable 'I Found You' onwards...
January 23, 201411 yr One would assume that they'll have an extended break (probably 6-8 months) and then see if there are any big hits about. If not then they'll just go their separate ways very quietly and under the radar. Guess we'll see a solo career for Max George then.
January 24, 201411 yr On this break, will they be going on a trip... to the local job centre... :w00t:
January 24, 201411 yr At least Union J are releasing a second album this year though I think they will be trying to man up their image a bit like One Direction.
January 25, 201411 yr I would say it depends on how their outside stuff has done - that set of dolls and touring and whatever. Obviously their music has done pretty terribly but if they make enough outside of that it may be worth releasing a second album just to extend the longevity of said "outside stuff". Would be surprised if they made enough to be worth trying again though. After 'Loving You Is Easy' they seem pretty bolloxed.
January 25, 201411 yr I can't believe Union J will be releasing another album when their singles haven't done very well (less well than the wanted) and their album hasn't done great.
January 25, 201411 yr They weren't exactly invested in properly. A nine [original] track album and one cover that was destined for success had they made the final / won the show. They have the potential to be amazing second time around. They're not the next One Direction though, it's just a shame that's where all the comparisons are drawn from.
January 25, 201411 yr I think if they do some better material and keep to their present image; they do wear some good outfits and are styled better then the Wanted who like like they buy their clothes from Sports Direct and image wise don't really have one. One Diection seem to have manned up a bit; but all of them except the blonde Irish one look as though they smoke and drink every night. I think as I've mentioned before that Union J have a chance if they are managed right; release the right songs and have a good reasonable co'ordinated image plus get them on telly programmes that most people actually watch.
